Homemade Green Power Detox Juice Drink

Get the greens, detox your body and enjoy every sip!

Green Power Detox Juice

We all know how important our vegetable intake is but how many of us really get all the greens we need? The USDA recommends eating at least three cups of vegetables daily. They also say that green vegetables are the most important.

The nutrients in green vegetables have been shown to help support brain health, boost heart health, reduce the risk of some types of cancer, and even build strong bones. It’s unbelievable how much a few green leaves can do!

We wanted to harness the power of green by making an amazing, 100% healthy and super delicious juice. A smoothie that does not contain artificial flavors and does not contain a large amount of carbohydrates, fats or sugars. Something we can mix and drink and feel good about with every sip. This is how we came up with this green detox smoothie mix.

So what are the miracle ingredients we put in our detox smoothie? Here are the power-packed ingredients we picked:

  • spinach
  • parsley
  • An apple
  • option
  • celery
  • Lemon juice
  • honey

Seven of the most powerful green ingredients out there! Let us tell you a little about what each amazing and delicious ingredient does to your health and how it helps detox your body.

spinachSpinach is full of magnesium that supports bone health. Spinach also helps prevent cancer, lowers blood pressure and can reduce oxidative stress. Spinach helps detoxify the body of heavy metals by stimulating the production of liver and digestive enzymes.

parsleyParsley is full of chlorophyll that improves detoxification. The enzymes in parsley work to break down food and improve digestion.

An appleApples are full of fiber that can help detoxify the liver as well as improve gut health.

optionCucumber flushes out toxins in your intestines. The digestive enzymes in cucumber also help reduce inflammation.

celeryCelery is full of vitamins A, C, and K. Drinking celery juice can reduce inflammation, enhance hydration and can soothe an upset stomach.

LemonLemon is rich in vitamin C, which has immune-boosting powers.

honey- Honey is antimicrobial. It will help cleanse the colon and expel undigested foods. Honey can also help remove other toxins from your body while boosting your immune response.

Aren’t all these ingredients amazing! It’s amazing how some fresh veggies can help us be healthier.

To make a homemade detox drink, we simply put everything in a juicer to squeeze into a beautiful green drink. If you don’t have a juicer, I highly recommend getting one, especially if you’re committed to drinking clean, healthy juices to detoxify your body. Juicers are really capable of juicing the best nutrients from a vegetable or fruit, giving you a cup of concentrated benefits.

If you don’t have a juicer, put everything on our list into a blender and puree until smooth. This will give you juice with a little texture. If you want to remove the pulp, pass the juice through a fine strainer for a purer drink.

Try to start your day with a large glass of green energy juice to detox. After only a few days, you will likely feel the effects of this cleansing drink. Try it – your health is worth it!
