Is Celsius Energy Drink Healthy? (Revealed) – REIZECLUB

I know a lot of brands out there claim that their products are healthy. But let’s get to the point: energy drinks are actually not healthy for you. However, it doesn’t have any terrible effects either for as long as you consume it in moderation.

Celsius, in particular, is a brand that has built an image that centers on its health benefits. And it’s easy to see why! After all, the energy drink has a ton of micronutrients, thermogenic properties, and minimal caffeine and sugar.

But as I said, I wouldn’t really call Celsius healthy, especially if this claim can lead consumers to let loose and consume too much.

In this article, I’ll be doing a deep dive on Celsius’ ingredients and see if it really is good for your health!

Let’s start exploring.

What’s In A Can of Celsius Energy Drink?

I’ve listed here the nutritional value you can get out of a 12 fl. oz (355ml) can of Celsius:

Elements Amount Per Can
Carbohydrates 2g
Caffeine 200mg
Vitamin C 60mg
Riboflavin 1.7mg
Niacin 20mg
Pantothenic Acid 10mg
Pyridoxine 1mg
Biotin 300mcg
Cobalmin 6mcg
Calcium 50mg
Chromium 50mcg
Sodium 0g
Nutritional Value of Celsius.

Celsius Ingredients

This energy drink has a Meta plus Proprietary Blend. A proprietary blend is a group of other ingredients used in any product in which the medication isn’t disclosed.

You can find the following ingredients in a can of Celsius:

  • Taurine
  • Guarana extract
  • Glucuronolactone
  • Ginger root extract
  • Green tea leaf extract
  • Carbonated filtered water
  • Citric acid
  • Fruit juice
  • vegetable juice
  • Sucralose
  • Natural flavor

I’m glad to see that many natural ingredients like Ginger root, green tea, and fruit extracts had come to the Celsius ingredients list.

Moreover, it has Biotin, which benefits your hair and skin. It’s kind of unusual because this vitamin isn’t common in energy drinks. But, it’s actually a good thing because it’s beneficial to your skin and hair.

How Much Caffeine is in Celsius?

There is around 200mg of caffeine in a can of Celsius. As I’ve mentioned before, caffeine can help you work out effectively.

While it doesn’t directly give you energy, it can make your mind alert, encouraging you to finish your task.

Whether it’s physical or mental work, Celsius has got you covered. It can even boost your cognitive performance just like coffee but much more powerful. However, there’s only a limit to caffeine you should take per day.

Are Celsius Drinks Good for You?

According to its makers, Celsius is good for you. As for me, I think they emphasize more on the part where it can help you burn calories and bad fats.

This article claims that taking caffeine before exercise can increase your fat oxidation. And this works at any time of the day.

It can’t be denied that Celsius is suitable for activity because of its caffeine content. Plus, the micronutrients can enhance your mental performance too, so that all sounds good to me.

What are the Side Effects of Celsius Energy Drinks?

According to the FDA, you need to keep your caffeine consumption below 400mg per day. Following their instructions can help you avoid the side effects of caffeine overdose.

In case of a caffeine overdose, you may experience one or a combination of the following symptoms:

  • Headaches
  • Fever
  • Dizziness
  • Tiredness
  • Palpitations
  • Nervousness

In addition, it can also cause anxiety and insomnia. My advice is, don’t take it hours before you go to sleep because 200mg of caffeine can keep you up until the mornings.

Do You Drink Celsius Before or After a Workout?

It’s preferable to drink Celsius in the morning before any physical activity. While you can also make it as a replacement to your usual coffee, you shouldn’t make it as one, especially if you don’t have any physically demanding tasks.

This energy drink will reveal its boosting effects within 15-20 minutes of consuming it. Don’t expect that it’ll work instantly because it won’t.

However, for other individuals, the effects might be different. For example, if you have a high tolerance for caffeine, it could work much later.

In case your tolerance is low, there’s a chance you’ll experience the effects sooner. Just be careful, though, as 200mg of caffeine might be enough for you to suffer from caffeine crashes.

Does Celsius Contain Any Added Sugar?

Celsius is sugar-free, and it uses an artificial sweetener called sucralose instead. This sucralose doesn’t add any additional calories to your diet.

Products use artificial sweeteners in replacement of natural sugar. As you may know, overconsuming sugar is also bad for your health. According to this article, you’re only allowed to take 30g of sugar per day.

While some advise that 40g of sugar is still okay, I don’t think you should consume so much sugar regularly. For me, the lesser, the better, and that’s the same with caffeine.

Aside from sugar crashes, products with artificial sweeteners can help your insulin resistance. This makes it an approved substance for people with diabetes. Moreover, using artificial sweeteners also prevents sudden headaches.

That could help a little in countering the headaches you might get from caffeine crashes. However, it isn’t a reason to drink more servings. Remember that artificial sweeteners are bad for long-term use as well.

Is Celsius Really Bad for Your Heart?

Energy drinks as a whole can be bad for your heart, so you should be wary. While Celsius has a lot of caffeine, it shouldn’t be terrible for your heart unless you have an underlying heart condition.

Limiting yourself to one serving of Celsius per day is also important to stay safe.

If you watch this video, you’ll find out it’s the same for most energy drinks.

The doctor says energy drinks are also bad for your kidney!

Energy drinks can increase your heart rate and blood pressure. So, stop consuming Celsius and start drinking water as soon as you experience these bad effects.

Also, consult a doctor if you experience any irregularities.

Is Celsius Healthier than Monster?

A single can of Monster Energy contains 160mg of caffeine, which is a bit lower than what Celsius has.

You’ll notice that Celsius has more nutrients than Monster on a quick look. Traveling, both of them are still unhealthy. Therefore, don’t think of relying on energy drinks for a boost.

It’s much better to rely on good sleep and follow a proper diet for energy. It doesn’t have to be a lot of sleeping hours. The quality of your sleep should be there.

Remember that the FDA didn’t really say that energy drinks are healthy. But to avoid any side effects and health problems, they made guidelines as to how much of the ingredients is still safe for you to take.

Which reminds me, Monster has 54g of sugar. This amount is definitely above the suggested sugar limit. If you think your body can’t take it, just stick to other sugar-free beverages.

Is Celsius Healthy to Drink Every day?

You’re allowed to take it every day. But I don’t think that’s healthy. Remember, these energy drinks have synthetic ingredients.

These ingredients are harmful to your body. You have to let your body rest from artificial ingredients sometimes. If you really can’t help taking energy drinks, at least have one can only every other day.

In my opinion, if you are going to drink it every day, you better keep it to one can a day only!

Energy Drink Alternatives to Celsius

Zipfizz

Zipfizz is a powdered energy drink with caffeine from guarana seed, only 100mg. Aside from that, it’s also rich in taurine and L-Arginine with only a few added calories.

Zipfizz doesn’t have any sugar content, just like Celsius. It uses substances like xylitol and sucralose for the sweet flavor of the beverage.

Ghost Gamer

One sachet of Ghost Gamer has 75mg of caffeine. This dosage might be little than Celsius has, but you can also add your dosage if you buy their tub version. You can use it as an effective pre-workout energy drink with two scoops of it.

This vegan energy drink is also packed with taurine, L-Tyrosine, and other nutrients. It’s indeed a good drink for physical and mental activities because it has these contents.

REIZE (The Best)

REIZE is my bet because of its sugar-free nature and only 50mg of caffeine. Plus, it would give you a compelling lift in energy without causing crashes.

REIZE Energy Drink

I also like its gentle and more natural taste than any other energy drink. more, I like how it’s free of sugar and has just enough caffeine for a solid energy boost without causing jitters.

You can get REIZE for only around $1 and you can even have your orders shipped straight to your door. That’s amazing value for your money.

The Final Say

Generally, Celsius has no sugar, which somehow makes it a little better than sugary energy drinks. It’s also beneficial to your workout goal, but that’s not enough to say it’s healthy.

Besides, it can still make your body suffer from side effects if you happen to consume much of it. But if you drink it every once in a while and drink it moderatelyit should be fine for you!

That said, remember not to mix it with any alcohol to avoid more harmful effects on your health.

Hi Ball Ingredients

For its ingredients, here’s the following:

  • Carbonated Purified Water
  • Natural Flavor
  • Organic Caffeine
  • Organic Guarana Extract
  • Organic Panax Ginseng Extract
  • Niacinamide (Vit B3)
  • D-Calcium Pantothenate (Vit B5)

Indeed, Hi Ball takes great pleasure in using only natural components in its products. As such, organic caffeine, organic ginseng, organic guarana, and a multitude of B vitamins are included in every one of their single 16-ounce cans.

Paulllina cupana, more commonly known as Guarana, is a plant that’s commonly found in Brazil, particularly in the Amazon river basin. Its fruit is rich in caffeine and is commonly used by the Amazonian tribes because of its ability to boost energy and for other therapeutic benefits.

There are also some studies that show guarana is loaded with antioxidants that fight free radicals in our bodies. It is also linked to weight loss, pain relief, heart health improvement, and even anti-cancer properties. It is because of these benefits that made guarana a widely-used caffeine source in the beverage industry today.

While most energy drinks nowadays contain some vitamins, the food scientists who created HI Ball formulated a drink that has four out of the eight B vitamin complex. They are vitamins B3, B5, B6, and B12 which are known to improve skin health, promote proper digestion and metabolism, and support the whole nervous system.

Is Hi Ball Energy Keto?

Hi Ball Energy Drink is definitely suitable for those following a ketogenic diet due to its low net carb content. Added sugar, artificial sweeteners, and ultra-refined oils aren’t present in this chic and sleek can of drink.

Many big names of energy drinks include artificial sweeteners, which are not keto-friendly. As a result, a few options employ stevia as a natural sweetener.

Moreover, when you’re strictly following a diet, consider eating foods rich in healthy fats in addition to Hi Ball Energy, which has a reduced fat content. This is because your body burns fat for energy; Therefore, it’s crucial to eat a diet rich in fat and protein.

Hi Ball Review

All of Hi Ball Energy’s flavors are available in various strengths. Grapefruit, Lemon Lime, Peach, Vanilla, and Wild Berry are some of its great-tasting flavors.

If you’re having trouble deciding between many flavors, the Hi Ball variety pack is a good option to start. These beverages are bound to include something that you like, so I doubt you’ll be unable to select a particular favorite. Who knows, maybe you’ll like all of it.

The cans of Hi Ball are really compact! Because of this, you can always carry your sparkling energy water to the gym, school, or work with you.

Also, to suit your preferences, forget your morning cup of joe, thanks to Hi Ball’s effervescent sparkling water and high levels of organic caffeine. Sugar and other sweeteners are not included in this “energy” drink, making it more effective and taste better than most brands.

Is Hi-Ball Energy Bad for You?

Definitely not! Hi Ball isn’t terrible for you at all. If anything, Hi-Ball does not use synthetic caffeinewhich is typically a telltale sign that an energy drink is unnatural instead of organic.

In fact, synthetic caffeine is more readily absorbed by the body, so its impact will be felt quicker. On the other hand, organic caffeine won’t overwhelm your system with energy, its effects are gradual, which means it’s less likely to have any severe side effects.

Keep in mind, though, that a single can still pack a potent dose of caffeine (160 mg). Taking in too much caffeine may cause sleeplessness, anxiety, headaches, a fast pulse, and muscular tremors, among other adverse effects.

It should go without saying that the only way this beverage may harm you is if you drink it excessively. Better still, stick to the FDA’s 400 mg daily caffeine level to avoid unwanted side effects.

Despite the many benefits of energy drinks, including Hi Ball, they still include lots of caffeine, sugar, and other chemicals that can be unhealthy. All I can say is, Hi Ball does its job of providing you with a little pick-me-up.

Hi Ball is a calorie-free drink that does not include any preservatives, artificial sweeteners, or taurine, which I believe is very rare for an energy drink. Most energy drinks in you will find in the grocery today are not just sugar-laden and caffeine-filled, but is also full of preservatives.

Worst Energy Drinks (Unbiased) – REIZECLUB

Before anything else, I just want to say that anything that I would say in this article is just my personal perspective based on my own experience. I’m simply going to express my own thoughts here.

My goal for this article is not to put a bad name for certain energy drinks brands that I will be mentioning but to give you, my readers, an informed decision on what energy drink to consume. You are highly encouraged to do your own research.

In my opinion, it’s best to avoid energy drinks that have a lot of caffeine, sugar, and calories since excessive consumption of those can lead to adverse health effects.

So, without further ado here’s my unbiased review on the worst energy drinks I’ve ever tried!

What Makes an Energy Drink Bad?

Just so we’re clear, drinking energy drinks in moderation is unlikely to have any adverse effects on your health. It’s important to note that certain beverages are only dangerous when consumed at large doses.

The reason for this is that energy drinks are loaded with caffeine, leading to dehydration and an increased risk of kidney stones if consumed in excess.

Furthermore, energy drinks are loaded with sugar and calories which aren’t essential for a healthy lifestyle. For the most part, they’re less than half of what the FDA recommends.

These are some of the probable long-term consequences of excessive energy drink intake.

In short, containing too much caffeine, sugar, and calories is what makes an energy drink not good.

Check out this video if you’d like to learn more about caffeine and its adverse effects on the body when consumed in excess.

Is Red Bull Worse than Monster?

Quite the opposite! In fact, more than twice as much caffeine is found in Monster than in Red Bull energy drinks.

This is one of the most important differences between the two. Red Bull and Monster both contain caffeine, but we can see that Monster has twice as much, having 160mg per 16 fl oz can.

There is a point to this argument, though. The cans from these two brands differ in size.

However, if we look at the caffeine content of half the can of Monster (8 fluid ounces), we’ll find that it would have the same amount of caffeine as Red Bull (8.4 fluid ounces). To put it another way, Monster has a somewhat higher potency per fluid ounce than Red Bull.

To sum up, both energy drinks are market leaders, and it’s not hard to know why; Both deliver a big energy boost at a reasonable price and have been around enough to conclude that they are reliable.

Both brands give an enjoyable energy drink experience, thanks to their high sugar and carbohydrate content. However, that may be a significant roadblock since you also have to take your health into an account.

What Energy Drinks are Toxic?

As I’ll explain in a minute, 5 Hour Energy is the most toxic, in my opinion.

When too many of these shots are consumed, a series of unfortunate unfold events. This is because each shot of 5 Hour Energy contains 200mg of caffeine and that much caffeine in such a small volume (1.93 fl oz) can be dangerous.

In addition, the tiny volume of 5 Hour Energy means you’ll be guzzling it rapidly, which means you’ll be consuming a lot more caffeine in a shorter period than you’re acccustomed to.

However, if your caffeine metabolism is robust enough, a shot of 5 Hour Energy is undoubtedly faster and more potent than the average energy drink.

But since my preferred caffeine dosage ranges from 50 to 100 mg per serving, the high caffeine content in 5 Hour Energy isn’t something I really like.

List of nutrients and ingredients in 5 Hour Energy
5 Hour Energy Ingredients

What’s the Worst Energy Drink?

Rockstar Energy drinks may have a catchy name and can deliver a quick burst of energy, but that’s about where the perks stop for me. These beverages are not good for you in terms of nutrition, mainly because of their sugar content.

Just so you know, a typical 240-milliliter serving of Rockstar energy drink has 31 grams of sugar in addition to a variety of ingredients. There are two servings in each 480-milliliter can, and each serving has 62 grams of sugar, which is a lot of sugar.

There is no need to be a health expert to realize that’s quite a bit. It’s a lot higher than the maximum daily allowance of 6-9 teaspoons of added sugar recommended by the AHA, even if you keep to one serving.

Overconsumption of added sugar has been related to several health problems, including an increased risk of stroke and heart attack, which I think this energy drink is a NO for me.

What Energy Drink is the Least Bad for you?

for me, Runa is probably the least harmful energy drink on the market.

RUNA is a healthier option for energy drinks in terms of calories and sugars.

To put it simply, the Amazonian super leaf Guayusa, which is naturally rich in antioxidants and caffeine, is the source of RUNA’s energy-giving power. Not to mention, RUNA energy drinks are both gluten-free and vegan-friendly.

It’s more critical than ever for university students, career men and women, athletes, and gamers to have a little pick-me-up today. However, with RUNA’s new beverage mix and revamped brand, people can now obtain their caffeine fix more conveniently than ever before.

I’m confident that you’ll like the reformulated RUNA because of its organic components and low-calorie taste.

Other Energy Drinks to Try:

Verdict

Energy drinks packed with sugar and caffeine don’t even come close to providing the total health benefits we’re looking for in this day and age. But, like with everything in life, moderation is key.

Drinking one can of energy drink isn’t expected to have any long-term damaging consequences. But as a rule of thumb, it’s best to avoid drinking them regularly and it’s not recommended that you should rely entirely on them for your daily energy needs.

Still, nothing beats drinking lots of water, having plenty of sleep, living an active lifestyle, and eating a balanced diet.

Why Do Energy Drinks Make Me Tired? (Find Out) – REIZECLUB

In spite of the fact that caffeine is a stimulant that enhances alertness, it might actually cause you to feel sleepy. This is because if you consume too much caffeine, your body will develop a tolerance to the substance, so it won’t keep you awake the same way as it did previously.

That’s weird, isn’t it? Shouldn’t an energy drink give me energy instead of making me feel tired? Well, the answer to that is not so simple, given the fact that chemistry and biochemistry are complicated matters.

Through this article, I will try to shed some light on this subject. So keep reading until the end to find out why energy drinks make you feel tired sometimes.

Why Does Caffeine Make Me Sleepy Immediately?

Caffeine causes havoc within your body’s natural processes. According, your brain produces even more adenosine in an effort to counteract the overstimulation. This is why, the moment you down that can of energy drink, you may immediately feel sleepy.

Notwithstanding the fact that your body has likely developed a tolerance to the stimulant effects of coffee that prevents you from feeling awake and energetic throughout the day.

To put it simply, a frequent intake of caffeine may cause your body to develop more adenosine receptors because caffeine prevents the effects of adenosine. So, as a rule of thumb, the more receptors you have, the less effective the energy drink is as a stimulant in the long run.

With that in mind, the FDA recommends that you consume no more than 400 milligrams of caffeine daily since excessive intake has been linked to many adverse health impacts and conditions. As a result, overindulgence may be harmful and even fatal in extreme cases.

Examples of these are:

  • Sugar crashes
  • Dehydration
  • Vomiting
  • Elevated blood pressure
  • Dizziness

Do you love starting your day with coffee? This video may come as a shock to you but I recommend you watch it.

Can Energy Drinks have the Opposite Effect?

They certainly do! Drinking energy beverages does not guarantee you the same benefits everyone is raving about!

Now, caffeine may be the obvious culprit in these energy-buzzing beverages, but a sugar crash should also be blamed.

It’s no secret that the majority of the population like their drinks sweet. Therefore some energy drinks manufacturers fill their products with sugar. That is why overconsumption of energy drinks raises insulin levels in the body.

With that, your blood sugar levels fall as a result of the insulin, which in return, will let you feel all sorts of side effects such as drowsiness.

As a result, it becomes a product that’s the complete antithesis of what energy drinks are all about.

What Ingredients in Energy Drinks Help with Tiredness?

Thanks to caffeine, you may get a short burst of energy from energy drinks. However, your caffeine tolerance should be considered while looking for an energy drink that can help keep you alert.

Furthermore, an energy drink’s energizing effects may be partly attributed to Guarana’s presence. Basically, Guarana is naturally high in caffeine, and it enhances the caffeine results in these beverages, making you feel more awake and energetic.

Not to mention, it is also well-known that Guarana has several advantages, including enhanced physical and mental efficiency.

How Do I Boost my Energy when I’m Tired?

There’s no need to chug cans of energy drinks to get through the day. Here are a few things to consume or do to get those bones and muscles of yours revved up.

Drink Water

While working out or going about your day, it may be challenging to remember to drink enough water. Drinking water provides you more incredible energy to perform anything, from athletic feats to staying up doing study sessions.

Grab a Bite

Your body’s energy levels may be boosted or drained by the food you eat. In fact, when you don’t get enough fuel for your body, your energy and mood will decline.

In particular, every bite we take turns into glucose, which powers our brains and keeps us sharp. For whatever reason, our attention tends to wander when we’re running short on glucose. This explains why it’s so difficult to do anything when you haven’t had anything yet for breakfast.

Exercise

Exercising may be the last thing on your mind when you’re tired. However, I’m here to tell you that exercising can be the most beneficial thing you can do for your body and activity levels.

Generally speaking, most people’s daytime energy levels increase directly in proportion to their productivity. You may get it while you work out since your brain releases endorphins when you work out.

Think of it as setting the moment, to keep your ball rolling.

Energy Drinks to Try

Feeling so tired in the morning even before the day even starts is a bummer. I’m not foreign to that feeling so I suggest you try one of these sugar-free energy drinks to change things up!

Energy Drinks Caffeine Sugar
XS Energy 80 mg 0 g
Zipfizz 100 mg 0 g
REIZE (10 out of 10) 50 mg 0 g
Energy drinks you should try

XS Energy

If you want to feel more alert, try XS energy drink.

XS only offers 80mg of caffeine each can, which is a lot less than some of the more popular brands you may be accustomed to.

Indeed, the quantity of caffeine that you’re receiving here should be enough to keep you awake and prevent the adverse effects of a caffeine overdose.

Zipfizz

More than the fact that it is so easy to carry around because of its small size, Zipfizz is an excellent energy drink choice for those always on the go.

Just add Zipfizz powder to your favorite beverage and stir until dissolved. This refreshing energy drink is ready in just a few short minutes!

As with its sugar content, you won’t have to worry about a sugar crash since it is completely devoid of sugar.

Also, after drinking Zipfizz, you should start to feel the benefits in around 15 minutes. When you drink a Zipfizz, the caffeine will be completely absorbed into your system in about 45 minutes. Accordingly, the effects will be most pronounced at this point.

REIZE (Best Choice)

If you want to feel energized without the side effect of becoming tired, I suggest you try REIZE energy drink. My favorite, REIZE (albeit this is not a biased view), has all of your energy-boosting needs supplied in a pack.

It’s not only delicious, but it’s also packed with flavorful ingredients such as ginseng, taurine, and B vitamins.

Also, each serving has only 11 calories with no added sugar. This makes it a great alternative if you’re on a strict diet and don’t want to experience any crashes.

Final Say

There are two primary ingredients in energy drinks: sugar and caffeine, and although the latter might give you a rapid burst of energy, they can also drain your energy levels over time.

Despite the fact that energy drinks may aid enhance performance, the impact is just temporary. Sugar and caffeine, when combined, have the potential to cause you to overwork yourself.

To gain the same performance-enhancing advantages, undertake some exercise and consume a balanced diet.

Where to Buy Energy Drinks Online in Ireland (Best Deals) – REIZECLUB

The craze for energy drinks is still alive more than ever. A couple of decades ago, you may have trouble getting some brands that are produced abroad, but today, the world is your oyster.

And if you find yourself in Ireland, you won’t have to worry about getting your energy drink fix as you can order them online. You can even have the option of getting your orders delivered to your home.

In fact, this whole article is about honing your Irish luck when it comes to energy drinks! Mainly where to get them online, how to get them shipped, and what are the best energy drink brands available in Ireland.

Read on for more information!

What is the Most Popular Energy Drink in Ireland?

According to some studies in 2018, three brands dominated the Irish energy drink market. The top-selling energy drink brands include Red Bull, and Monster Energy, with Lucozade on the number one spot.

Other famous energy drinks in Ireland are Mountain Dew Energy, Club, BPM Energy, Boost, Relentless, 28 Black, and V. Majority of the best-selling brands are from three big companies—Red Bull Gmbh, Monster Beverage Corp., and Suntory Holdings Ltd.

Additionally, there are newer energy drink brands that are slowly becoming more widespread, like Zip Fizz and Rockstar.

Do People Buy Energy Drinks Online?

Yes, people buy energy drinks online even though they are not the best and quickest products to sell online. Truth is, energy drinks are even more difficult to market in e-commerce than other products.

Although that may be true, since the emergence of countless online selling platforms to provide convenience, consumers now opt to buy energy drinks from their preferred delivery or shopping apps.

Leading and even lesser-known brands of energy drinks can easily be ordered nowadays with just a few taps on your phone.

Packaging is probably one of the challenges that energy drink manufacturers face when selling energy drinks online. Energy drinks typically come in bulk packaging and are pretty heavy, they’re also fragile, considering aluminum cans are thin and malleable.

But despite these problems, the online energy drinks industry in Ireland is growing year by year.

Can Energy Drinks be Shipped?

It is indeed possible to have your energy drinks shipped. However, once carbonated drinks are shaken, the carbon at the top of the container can dissolve as gas bubbles and can be a little bit of a problem.

For that reason, once the shaken can is opened, large bubbles brewing will instantly rise and explode. With that in mind, despite the possibility of shipping your carbonated drinks, the procedures needed to be done to keep the drinks in the best condition are taxing.

Sending packages by shipping them means they will be tossed, moved, stacked, flown, and driven. On that note, your energy drinks will probably be shaken—a lot.

More importantly, it is a severe risk of a beverage exploding during a freight shipment. Hence, if you really need and want to ship them, it is advisable to create a double seal.

Additionally, it would be good to ship your carbonated beverages enclosed in a waterproof bag. Besides that, the packaging should be appropriately labeled and filled with packaging materials to secure the drinks.

Are you planning to drink only energy drinks? Don’t do it! Watch this video and treat it as a warning.

Is Monster Banned in Ireland?

Unfortunately for fans of the brand, four kinds of energy drinks were taken off the shelves in Ireland. The following include, The Ripper Juice Monster Energy + Juice, Lewis Hamilton Monster Energy, Espresso Monster Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot, and Espresso Monster Salted Caramel Triple Shot.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland announced the decision, blaming it on high levels of propylene glycol in energy drinks.

Moreover, the notice applies to all batches of the energy drinks and the best before dates of the beverages.

Also, when you think about it, the caffeine content in a 16-ounce can of Monster is about 160 milligrams, which isn’t too bad given the FDA recommends no more than 400mg of caffeine per day.

However, even if that’s the recommended amount of caffeine, you should still heed your body’s warnings.

Adding the fact that caffeine varies from person to person; for some, 50-100mg of caffeine is enough to provide an energy boost.

Don’t let its name scare you, Monster Energy is an awesome energy drink.

Zipfizz 0 g 100 mg
Lucozade 34g 36 mg
REIZE 0 g 50 g
Best Energy Drinks in Ireland

Zipfizz

What’s not to love about Zipfizz? Besides having fewer calories and being sugar-free, this also has healthy ingredients.

To name a few, grape seed extract, potassium, and chromium are all included. With that in mind, you know that you are not harming your body when you consume this energy drink.

What is more, in taking this energy drink, you have to mix each serving with 250ml of water before drinking it.

Lucozade Energy drink

Lucozade Energy is another well-known energy drink brand in Ireland, and each 380ml bottle includes 36mg of caffeine. That seems like an acceptable price for an energy drink of this size.

Mainly, Lucozade is a fantastic energy drink to carry on the go. However, this may not work many wonders as a pick-me-up or a pre-workout drink.

More importantly, this energy drink contains 34.6 grams of sugar, which aids in mental performance.

REIZE Energy Drink (11/10)

Although the other energy drink brands are excellent, I believe REIZE Energy is an off-the-charts energy drink that is readily available in Ireland.

This is because REIZE is a powdered energy drink that you can combine with any 250ml of your favorite liquid. In detail, this comes in 4g and is ideal for drinking any time, anywhere.

Besides that, this energy drink has a moderate amount of caffeine (50mg). Not just that, but this is sugar-free.

Likewise, this drink contains a masterful combination of taurine, ginseng, and B vitamins. This combination will undoubtedly provide you with a long-lasting energy boost.

Best of all, this only contains 11 calories. Hence, worry not about a sugar crash or whether your diet will be altered when you use REIZE to power up.

On top of that, your REIZE energy drinks will be delivered to your door for around $1 each. Indeed an incredible value for money!

Is Nau Energy Bad for you? (Truth) – REIZECLUB

As the most popular drug in the world, caffeine is now so ubiquitous in our everyday lives that it’s hard to imagine going a day without it. To stay focused and energized, most of us need an extra source of energy and focus that can be found in caffeinated beverages.

However, that shouldn’t always be the case!

Even though it doesn’t include any caffeine or guarana, the Swedish-made NAU Energy powder drink nonetheless helps you concentrate and increases your mental clarity. It also has fewer calories than conventional energy drinks.

Taking everything into account, I believe we can safely say Nau Energy drinks aren’t harmful unless you consume them in excess.

Not convinced? Let me tell you more about it, just keep reading!

What is in NAU Energy Drink?

Nutritional Facts

Nau Energy drinks are available in sachet packets that you should blend before use. The table below shows what are the nutrients included in each sachet.

Nutrition Summary of Nau Energy

Gain mental and physical strength with NAU Snse! This supplement’s natural active ingredients were deliberately chosen for players to benefit from. Not to mention, you can carry it with you everywhere you go since it’s in sachet form.

Ingredients

Additionally, Nau Energy has the following ingredients:

  • Maltodextrin (maize)
  • Citric Acid (Acidity Regulator)
  • Trimagnesium citrate
  • Salvia Extract (Sage, Arabic gum, sage essential oil),
  • Cranberry Extract (Cranberry, magnesium hydroxide, citric acid)
  • Flavor
  • L-theanine
  • Paprika Oil Extract
  • Sucralose (Artificial Sweetener)
  • Lemon Balm Extract
  • Anti-caking agent (Tricalcium Phosphate)

Some of the active ingredients in the Nau Energy drink include lemon balm, L-theanine, cognivia, and an extra dose of vitamin and mineral supplements. Aside from soothing your mind and body, this combination is designed to help you focus better.

How Much Caffeine is in Nau?

Nau stands apart since it doesn’t include any caffeinated ingredients when it comes to energy drinks.

Indeed, while it’s caffeine-free, Nau may provide a surge and a jolt of focus due to the supplement’s other ingredients. Vitamins, carbs, and fiber, to name a few, all play a role in this beverage’s ability to give you a surge of energy.

It’s important to remember that although Nau doesn’t include any caffeine, it’s highly probable you’ll drink or eat other foods that do, so be speculative.

According, the FDA advises that you restrict your daily caffeine consumption to no more than 400mg. Anything more than that, you may experience symptoms such as headaches, weariness, difficulty focusing, and irritability due to caffeine withdrawal.

In short, Nau is a fantastic option if you’re trying to cut down on your caffeine intake.

The back side of a sachet of Nau Energy
A sachet of Nau weighs 10 grams but it is already enough to give you focus throughout the day.

Does Nau Sense Work?

Many people will testify that it does work. Don’t underestimate Nau’s capacity to help you stay focused and alert, even if it doesn’t contain caffeine.

Nau Snse, on the other hand, has an entirely different effect on your performance compared to a typical energy drink, so don’t expect the same results!

As a result of this, you shouldn’t bother comparing these two substantially different beverages. They each serve a distinct function, as one would expect.

If you ask me, caffeine-free energy drinks should be more appropriately referred to as concentration drinks. Concentration aids for those long workdays, studying hours, or simply while you’re churning through your video games.

Hence, with a nutritional supplement like Nau Snse, you may be both creative and focused at the same time.

I believe you’ll find this video interesting, for it talks about the effects of energy drinks, mostly caffeinated

Can you use NAU Energy as a pre-workout?

Nutritional formulas such as products that include caffeine, creatine, B vitamins, or artificial sweeteners are known as pre-workout supplements. Because of this reason, NAU Energy cannot be considered a pre-workout supplement in the strictest sense since it lacks these ingredients.

But yes you can drink it before your workout and it works differently than the usual pre-workout drinks.

Technically, caffeine-free means it won’t have the same stimulating effects as other energy drinks or supplements on the market, which I believe is a significant advantage, a silver lining if you may. It may help you stay focused for up to four hours at a time.

However, in this post, you’ll find a slew of suggestions for pre-workout energy supplements.

Is Nau Energy Bad for You?

Quite the opposite! No jitters or crashes are associated with NAU’s caffeine-free formula. Aside from that, the caloric intake at NAU is relatively minimal.

For me, NAU powder is a healthy alternative to other energy drinks since it’s an excellent concentration source and has no dangerous components. At whatever time of the day or night, it won’t disturb your sleep.

Energy Drink Alternatives to Nau Drinks

Additionally, Aspire offers a wide array of fruit-inspired tastes, which is a perk if you like altering flavors.

RUNA

You’d be happy to know that RUNA energy drinks are gluten and vegan-friendly, so there’s no beating that. Its game-changing ingredient, the Guayusa plantprovides 150 milligrams of natural caffeine in RUNA.

In this day and age, a little pick-me-up may go a long way. But owing to RUNA’s new formula and revamped brand, it’s now simpler than ever to satisfy your caffeine cravings minus the guilt!

Because of its organic ingredients and low-calorie taste, I am confident you will like the new RUNA blend.

REIZE (Ultimate Favorite)

With REIZE, you may enjoy a powdered energy drink in 4g sachet form that’s easy to carry and consume. In detail, REIZE is sugar-free and only contains 11 calories per serving, with a reasonable caffeine content of 50 milligrams (mg).

With this in your hands, you can rest easy knowing your drink is safe.

In addition, REIZE gives you a considerable energy boost in minutes by just adding water to the powder. Due to its lack of sugar and carbohydrates, it is also ideal for those on a diet.

It has caffeine in it, so I’m sure you’ll like it too! If you’re looking for a quick pick-me-up, taking only 50mg of these can do the trick.

Not to mention, a long-lasting rush is achieved when ginseng and B-vitamins are combined with taurine in the recipe.

For as little as around $1 per drink, REIZE may help you unwind. You can even have your orders shipped to your home! That’s an amazing deal.

The best way to find out is to give REIZE a try and compare it to the other energy drinks I suggested. You never know what you’ll discover!

Bottomline

Ultimately, for a drink that doesn’t include caffeine but still increases your attention and memory, you can’t go wrong with Nau.

NAU is an excellent alternative for those who are sensitive to caffeine because of its low-calorie level and absence of caffeine content. In addition to sugar-free and sugar-containing tastes, you get to choose from either of the two variants.

My admiration for NAU stems from the fact that its contents won’t harm your health. Therefore, you may drink a reasonable quantity of NAU each day.

Indeed, NAU, a caffeine-free energy drink, is here to help you get through the workday.

Merica Energy Ingredients

In a single 16 fl-oz. can of Red White & Boom from Merica Labz, you get the following paired with 200 milligrams of caffeine:

  • Acetyl L-Carnitine – 250 mg

    Merica Energy Ingredients

    The ‘Merica Energy Ingredients label

Also known as ALcar, Acetyl L-Carnitine is a specific form of carnitine that’s designed to help boost focuswhile also performing the primary function of L-carnitine, which is to transport fatty acids into mitochondria (where they’re burned for energy).[1] This generally increases the overall availability of energy to your cells.

ALCAR’s unique focus-boosting properties come from its ability to cross the blood-brain-barrier,[1-4] and from the fact that it’s bound to an acetyl group, which can be used to synthesize neurotransmitters like acetylcholine.

Because of its effect on neurotransmitter systems, ALCAR has the ability to improve cognition,[5,6] upregulate neurotransmitter production,[7] and even have neuroprotective and anti-depressant effects.[8]

Another great thing about ALCAR’s appearance in this recipe is that it synthesizes with caffeinewhich is also present, to liberate free fatty acids and increase the body’s rate of fat burning.[9]

In a 2018 meta-analysis of over 30 studies, researchers found that carnitine supplementation at a variety of doses helped improve metabolic functioning in athletes, helping them to perform better overall than athletes who don’t take carnitine.[10] Specifically, carnitine seems to have the ability to increase exercise capacity and prolong enduranceas well as promote faster and better recovery.[10,11]

  • Choline Bitartrate – 250 mg

Choline bitartrate is a high-yield type of choline that will increase blood plasma levels of choline, including in the brain. This is great because choline is an essential nutrient, meaning that we need it and our bodies cannot make it themselves, so we must obtain it from food or supplements.

Choline performs a lot of functions in the body, but perhaps its most important is in strengthening the integrity of cell membranes.[12]

However, choline is also a precursor to acetylcholine,[13] which we often refer to as “the learning neurotransmitter” because of the role it plays in memory consolidation (and hence, learning). Combining choline with ALCAR is a smart strategy for raising acetylcholine levels, which is going to improve cognition and give you the feeling of higher mental energy levels.

Choline deficiency It is really bad – besides causing cognitive impairment, it can also eventually lead to damaged organs and catabolized muscle tissue, including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a disorder that’s part of the metabolic syndrome.[14]

Not getting enough choline can cause cognitive dysfunction and damage to organs and muscle tissue, including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, a disorder that’s associated with diabetes and dyslipidemia.[15]

  • Caffeine – 200 mg

Merica Energy Red White & Boom Energy Blue Valor

Much like the previous two ingredients, caffeine is famous for its ability to cross the brain-blood barrier. It works to promote alertness and mental energy by blocking the receptors for adenosine and phosphodiesterase.in the brain,[16] which increases global neural activity.[16]

Caffeine is so good for your brain that researchers are finding it to be neuroprotective in dopamine-driven neurological disorders, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, so it probably won’t come as much of a shock to hear that in healthy people, caffeine has been demonstrated to improve a wide variety of cognitive abilities.[17]

Phosphodiesterase is an enzyme that breaks down cyclic adenosine monophosphatealso known as cAMP.[18,19] Because cAMP metabolizes fat and carbs for energy, keeping cAMP levels high will give your body and your brain more energy for the intense tasks you demand of them.[20]

That’s great if you’re dieting, because caffeine will increase your metabolic flexibilityhelping you burn more fat for fuel if you’re intermittently fasting, or eating at a caloric deficit.[21-23]

    Merica Energy Blue Valor

As far as dosing is concerned, 200 milligrams is a great choice, because the research literature indicates that caffeine doses between 40 and 300 milligrams are best at improving cognitive function.[24]

You can read the full story in our article titled ‘Merica Energy: The All-American Energy Drink Gets a ‘Restoration’.

While it’s not as massively loaded as the full-blown Merica Labz Red, White, & BOOM pre workoutthis is far better than your average gas station energy drink. Not even close.

Other flavors available?

Blueberry lemonade not your flavor? Then check out these other incredible Merica Energy flavors:

Another hit: Blue Valor Blueberry Lemonade

Merica Energy Alpine Pew Pew

BOOM! Merica Energy Alpine Pew Pew is a knock-down flavor.

We couldn’t be happier with the resurgence of Merica Energy. This formula is effective, yet affordable and not over-the-top. Sometimes the best formulas are the simplest ones, and that’s definitely true in the case of Red White & Boom Energy. These three solid ingredients all synergize very well, and you can’t go wrong with the flavor. Not too much blueberry, but not too little either.

We love the patriotic edge that Doug Miller and all of his brands at Crush It Holdings have – the team is not afraid to speak up and support the cause of their local patriots.

The question comes down to which flavor you’re going to go for next. Blue Valor is excellent… but so are so many others. Whichever you choose, drink up and enjoy!

Healthy Energy Drink Alternatives (Best Options) – REIZECLUB

Most of us turn to energy drinks for a much-needed energy boost. Obviously, highly proven brands such as Monster, Red Bull, and G Fuel dominate our market.

But as popular as energy drinks are, there have also long been questions about their potential negative side effects.

While certain studies have proven that energy drinks may cause adverse health issues, some studies say otherwise. In fact, this study states that it depends on your consumption.

To be more specific, you have to choose an energy drink brand with the right ingredients as well as caffeine content, since we can have varying caffeine tolerances.

To counter these claims, many energy drinks brands have put out more health-focused energy drink products with naturally-derived ingredients and minimal caffeine and sugar content.

Still, I’m reluctant to call any energy drink “healthy”. But as I said, it’s a matter of choosing the right energy drink for your lifestyle and needs!

Continue reading for my list of energy drink alternatives you can pick to avoid pesky side effects!

Let’s get into the details.

Are Energy Drinks Healthy?

First of all, energy drinks aren’t healthy. And that’s only because the FDA didn’t make any specific announcement to treat it as one. However, energy drinks’ contents follow the FDA guidelines.

Energy drinks are also not dietary supplements that can replace meals, despite the calorie content.

But it all comes down to the caffeine and sugar content. Even if the brand is sugar-free or has low caffeine, if you consume the drink excessively, you’ll find yourself experiencing some nasty side effects like headaches or insomnia.

Listen as he talks about specific ingredients you should avoid.

What to Drink Other Than Energy Drinks?

Because energy drinks are not entirely healthy, you might be having a double-take for now. Luckily, there are other options that you could try in case you want a 100% healthy beverage.

Water

First on the list would be water. Unlike energy drinks, we always need water to survive. Don’t you know that our body comprises 60% water?

Because we’re composed of water, it’s recommended that we drink at least eight glasses of water every day. If you’re constantly feeling tired and sleepy, you might not have been drinking enough water.

According to this article, not drinking enough water can cause fatigue. If your pee is dark yellow, that’s a sign that you’re dehydrated. That means you need to drink water more.

Coffee

If it’s only the caffeine you want in an energy drink, why don’t you try coffee instead? A cup of coffee can provide you with 80-100mg of caffeine, and that’s enough to wake up your whole system.

It may not be obvious, but coffee also contains antioxidants and vitamins such as riboflavin and potassium. It also claims to lessen depression, but I guess just drinking it alone can pretty much take your stress away.

Check out my article on energy drinks vs coffee to see how they’re similar and different from each other.

Orange juice and oranges.
Of course, all fruit shakes are healthy!

How to Know Which Energy Drinks are Healthy?

I’ve come up with a checklist of things to look out for in a good energy drink brand that won’t harm your health!

Low on Sugar

If an energy drink has a high sugar level, that’s not a healthy energy drink for you. Sugar is a common ingredient in an energy drink. That’s because it can give you a quick energy boost and a good taste experience.

However, I don’t think you must look for high sugar content. Because you consume too much sugar, it can lead to sugar crashes. That would go against your workout routine and fitness goals because it can lead to weight gain.

This article advises you to keep your sugar consumption at 30g per day to prevent that. So, I guess the lower the sugar amount is in an energy drink, the better option it could be. However, some energy drinks don’t use natural sugar but instead artificial sweeteners.

Artificial sweeteners are FDA-approved and suitable even for people with diabetes. Moreover, they can also prevent you from gaining extra weight because they have no additional calories.

Low in Caffeine

Just like sugar, the lesser the caffeine amount is, the better. Some energy drink brands have high caffeine content, while others keep it low.

This actually has its own pros and cons. For example, too much can lead to caffeine crashes, wherein too low can make you feel no power boost at all. However, It mostly depends on your caffeine tolerance and the intensity of your activities for the day.

I don’t think a 30-minute jog would require lots of caffeine. But if you’re going weightlifting, then I guess two cans of energy drink would be enough. Just take note that the highest level of caffeine you can find in an energy drink is 300mg, such as Redline Xtreme Energy and G Fuel.

This is actually in the warning level because the recommended amount of caffeine you’re only allowed to take is at 400mg set by the FDA. If you consume over that amount, it could lead to Headaches, anxiety, and even fever.

Coffee beans
Watch your caffeine intake.

Other Ingredients

In addition, energy drinks contain other ingredients like taurine and B vitamins for an extra energy boost.

Taurine

According to this study, taurine combined with caffeine can boost your mental performance. Most energy drinks contain 1000mg of taurine.

This might scare you because it’s such a high amount. However, taurine is beneficial to your body by lowering your blood pressure and calming the nervous system. Because of this, It’s safe to take up to 3000mg of taurine per day.

Vitamin B

In addition, the Vitamin B complex helps prevent infections, Thus strengthening the health of your cells. Other than that, it could also support the following:

  • Red blood cell development
  • Energy levels
  • Good eyesight
  • Healthy brain function
  • Smooth digestion
  • healthy appetite
  • Nerve function
  • Hormones production
  • cholesterol production
  • Cardiovascular health
  • Muscle tone

As you can see, it has so many benefits to your body. However, it’s not safe to take too much of it. Unlike taurine, consuming enormous amounts of B vitamins can negatively affect your health.

Here is the daily amount recommendation according to this article:

B Vitamins For Women For Men
B1 1.1mg 1.2mg
B2 1.1mg 1.3mg
B3 14mg 16mg
B5 5mg 5mg
B6 1.3mg 1.3mg
B8 30mcg 30mcg
Folic Acid 400mcg 400mcg
B12 2.4mcg 2.4mcg
B Vitamins Daily Recommendation.

Herbal Supplement

There are also energy drinks that use herbal supplements such as ginseng and guarana. The extract you can get from these two has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

Just like caffeine, ginseng is also linked to increased alertness and reaction. On the other hand, guarana has caffeine in it. But aside from that, it also contains theophylline and theobromine, which are mild muscle relaxants.

How Much Energy Drink Should You Take Per Day?

According to this article, it’s safe to take two servings or two cans of energy drinks. However, I think that would depend on its contents.

In case you’re a kid or pregnant, you need to avoid energy drinks at all costs. Otherwise, energy drinks can be harmful to you. That’s why you should consider taking natural beverage for your health and the health of your baby instead.

healthy Energy Drink Alternatives

Aspire Energy

Aspire is a healthier choice because it’s sugar-free and has a low caffeine content at only 80mg. With 80mg of caffeine, Aspire could give you a fair lift, as well as a boost on your mental concentration.

Moreover, I like Aspire Energy primarily because it claims to be vegan-friendly. This instantly can make you think like the drink is healthy, right? As I checked its content, I saw no problem at all.

In addition, the caffeine inside Aspire is from green tea and guarana seed. This could quicken your metabolism and help you take away more calories during exercise. Moreover, it also has vitamin Bs and vitamin C, essential to your well-being.

Guru

Another energy drink with a reasonable amount of caffeine is the Guru energy drink. It has only 100 mg of caffeine and has Natural ingredients such as green tea, echinacea flower extract, and Panax ginseng root extract.

You would only not have a dose of energy but antioxidants as well. 22g of sugar came from an organic cane syrup instead of processed sugar. Even though it’s a healthier choice, it’s still best to keep your intake at only one can per day.

ZipFizz

ZipFizz is a powdered energy drink that’s pretty convenient. A single-serve contains 100mg of caffeine and 0g of sugar, and other ingredients commonly found in energy drinks, such as B vitamins.

I’m just not fond of its high vitamin B12 amount, 41,667% of the daily value. Even though B Vitamins are water-soluble and won’t probably lead to any harmful side effects, it’s still much safer to be wary.

REIZE (Highly-Recommended)

REIZE is the healthiest energy drink for me. That’s because it only has 50mg of caffeine per powdered stick.

Food and drinks high in sugar can promote weight gain, but through innovation and creating sugar-free products, this problem can be eliminated.

Sugar-free energy drinks are not particularly harmful to your health. However, they don’t exactly paint the picture of a “healthy” drink either.

According to two Curtin research studies, drinking too many energy drinks, even the sugar-free ones, can cause serious brain cell damage. Moreover, this can potentially increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

Hence, the FDA suggests that you restrict your daily caffeine consumption to 400 mg or less in order to avoid the following negative effects. With that in mind, worry not because you’ll be fine if you only consume energy drinks in moderation.

more, Sugar-free energy drinks are believed to be the healthier option for those who want to lose weight or reduce their sugar intake. For instance, ASBs or “Artificially Sweetened Beverages” are frequently referred to as ‘diet’ versions of the drinks.

In most “sugar-free” energy drinks, sweeteners such as sucralose, aspartame, and acesulfame potassium (Ace-K) are present. On that note, we can’t conclude that all energy drinks claiming to be “sugar-free” are 100% free of sugar but still taste sweet with the help of artificial sweeteners.

Here’s a video that talks about sugar-free products objectively, you gotta check this out.

What Sugar-Free Energy Drinks Do to Your Body?

While sugar-free beverages indeed don’t contain added sugar, the artificial sweeteners in them can still lead to insulin production in your blood.

Do Energy Drinks Make You Lose Weight?

Contrary to popular belief, energy drinks do not make a person lose weightbut it does help you achieve a big deficit in calories.

Unfortunately, the drink does not burn fats simply because it’s not a fat-burning drink. Is there any? On a side note, sugar-free drinks can even potentially make you gain weight if you drink too much of them.

In reality, if you do not tone down your energy drink consumption, you are only compromising your health. Additionally, there is no solid evidence that caffeine consumption leads to noticeable weight loss.

And since energy drinks are not exactly the miracle beverage for weight loss, gaining or losing weight can be summed up in a simple explanation. If you eat more calories than you burn, you will gain weight and vice versa. You’ll only lose weight if you’re in a state of calorie deficit.

Resist the temptation of sugar-free energy drinks that are high in artificial sweeteners. Instead, opt for clean, plant-based energy drinks.

Best Non-Carbonated Energy Drinks (No Fizz) – REIZECLUB

Many of the popular energy drinks in the market today are carbonated, but energy drink manufacturers know that it’s not for everyone. That’s why there are plenty of fantastic no-fizz options out there.

The carbonation in energy drinks makes the caffeine effects feel stronger; However, it also comes with a downside—high sugar content. That’s why if you’re trying to cut down on your sugar intake you must go for a non-carbonated option.

Finding out which non-carbonated option is the most effective is not an easy task. With that, here are some of the most excellent non-carbonated energy drinks currently on the market.

Let’s dive in!

What is the difference between Carbonated and Non-Carbonated Drinks?

The main difference between the two is of course the carbonation, but aside from that, non-carbonated drinks are often less sweet than carbonated drinks since they don’t include sugar or artificial sweeteners.

The inclusion of carbon dioxide gives the carbonated beverages their fizz and effervescent sensation. In other terms, carbon dioxide molecules are volatile, which means they may be dissolved in water to generate carbonic acid, a poisonous acidic solution.

With this in mind, this procedure works at a pace that prevents the bubbles from escaping, resulting in a drink that tickles your tongue and brings you a delightful effervescent sensation.

On the other hand, non-carbonated beverages are those that do not contain carbon dioxide or have a fizzy flavor. The carbonation process is not used in non-carbonated drinks; therefore, they lack that distinct zing.

Check out this video to find out more about carbonated and non-carbonated drinks.

Why Are Most Energy Drinks Carbonated?

Energy drinks are often touted as an extra kick that enhances physical and mental performance. And as caffeine is readily absorbed through the stomach, carbonation makes it even easier to enter the system.

The cold temperature of energy drinks acts as a fast jolt to the body, causing it to become more alert. Your nervous system is further stimulated by the addition of carbon dioxide.

With each sip, you’ll feel a tingling, refreshing feeling that’s both fresh and invigorating. Hence, the reason why many of today’s most popular energy drinks benefit from the addition of this taste.
