Is Celsius More Healthy Than Monster? (Stand-Off) – REIZECLUB

Over the years, many energy drinks have started to call themselves healthy drinks when there aren’t any institutions that back them up. My personal opinion is that no energy drink is healthy since they primarily contain ingredients like caffeine or sugar that can have detrimental effects on your health.

However, I do think it’s possible to pick an energy drink that has the least health risks. These would be the brands that have minimal caffeine, sugar, and calories.

Celsius is marketed as a fitness drink with thermogenic properties. It contains 200 mg of caffeine, B and C vitamins, and no sugar and calories. Meanwhile, Monster Energy is a classic energy drink brand that comes with 160mg of caffeine, 190 calories, and 54g of sugars.

Just off these details alone, you can get the sense that Celsius may be better for your health. I agree with this but let’s look a little deeper, shall we?

Let’s get started.

How Healthy are Energy Drinks?

As I said, energy drinks aren’t really healthy. The fact that you need to take it with sincere discipline should give you an idea.

Too much caffeine and sugar common in energy drinks are not that good for your body in the long-term run. However, there are energy drinks available with little caffeine or zero sugar. These energy drinks are a healthier choice for me.

But if you want to be sure you are taking a healthy beverage, you can settle with juices or water. In fact, there are homemade energy drinks that you can create on your own. Find out the steps in this article.

As long as you don’t have any complications that prohibit you from drinking energy drinks, you should be OK. Having them only when needed will not result in serious health problems.

Celsius Vs. Monster Nutrition Facts

Some individuals consider a product more healthy if it has more nutrients. If you do so, too, Celsius would be the healthier choice for you.

To get an idea of their contents, I’ve put them side-by-side on this table:

Standard Values Celsius (per 12 fl.oz) Monster (per 16 fl.oz)
Energy 10 calories 21 calories
Fat 0g 0g
Carbohydrates (Of Which Sugars) 2g 54g
Sodium 0g 370mg
Caffeine 200mg 160mg
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) 1.7mg 3.6mg
Vitamin B3 (niacin) 20mg 4.6mg
Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) 10mg

But that’s not everything you can find inside Celsius and Monster. The following pictures below will show you what other ingredients they contain:

Monster Label

Celsius Energy Other Ingredients.

Celsius Vs. Monster Caffeine

Celsius has 200mg of caffeine per can, while Monster has only 160mg.

If you need the motivation to exercise, caffeine can help you with this. Don’t you know that caffeine can enhance your mood to exercise and boost cognitive functions? No wonder you can get a surge of alertness for coffee alone.

Because you’ll likely be more awake than your current state when you haven’t taken any caffeine, I bet you wouldn’t waste that just to sit around the corner.

However, some individuals have a high tolerance to caffeine, which means they need a much higher dose of caffeine to feel its effects. If you’re one of them, it’s better for you to go with Celsius.

Celsius Vs. Monster Sugar

Celsius is sugar-free, while Monster has 54g of sugar. According to this article, the amount in Monster might be dangerous to your health. Because you only need 30g of sugar per daygoing above that level can result in sugar crashes.

Whether you are taking energy drinks for a game or a physical workout, a sudden drop in your energy wouldn’t be suitable for your performance.

Here are other signs of sugar crashes.

Take it from a doctor.

Almost all the products you take every day have sugar in them. In line with this, I see no reason to go for an energy drink with too much sugar in it.

Think twice if you can handle the sugar content before trying Monster energy drink.

Celsius And Monster Side Effects

You can get many possible side effects from taking any of these two. You can have insomnia, headaches, and heart attacks because of consuming too much caffeine.

This is why the FDA advises it’s only safe for you to have up to 400mg of caffeine per day. If you happen to take more than what’s recommended, you’ll suffer from caffeine overdose.

On the other hand, too much sugar can give you extra weight. According to this study, there’s also a high chance of kidney disease.

How Do You Know if an Energy Drink is Healthy?

First of all, you’ll need to have a look at the nutrients and other ingredients of the energy drink. Make sure you’re taking sugar and caffeine at a safe level.

Check if the energy drink is vegan-friendly or suitable for a keto diet. Vegan-friendly energy drinks use plant-based ingredients. I also suggest you look up its other contents and check whether the dosage is in line with it.

Because water is the healthiest beverage of all that you can think of, I’m siding with consuming powdered energy drinks. Consuming powdered energy drinks can help you with your water intake and keep your body hydrated.

Is One Energy Drink a Day OK?

Experts say that if you would take energy drink every day, limit your consumption to only one can or serving. This is because if you take too much, the artificial contents inside it could build up and harm your body.

Other articles suggest that it’s still OK to take even two energy drinks per day. Anyway, I think you should only drink more than one serving if it contains a low amount of caffeine and sugar.

What Happens if you drink 3 Cans of Monster in a Day?

In this case, you’re more vulnerable to caffeine and sugar crashes. It could lead to caffeine toxicity, resulting in tremors and chances of strokes.

You might consume them expecting a jolt of energy, but there’s a chance that it might backfire and cause complications. On the other hand, if you rely on the power they can provide you, you’ll be dependent on them.

One symptom that you’re energy drinks dependent on is that you consume too many of them on the same day. Another is when you suffer from headaches every time you skip your energy drinks session.

While you can’t remove this instantly, you can recover from it by cutting your energy intake little by little every day. One day you’ll wake up and won’t feel the need for it.

That’s why you should only consume energy drinks when it’s necessary.

Is Celsius the Healthiest Energy Drink?

I cannot really say that Celsius is the healthiest energy drink. Sure, it has vitamin C that’s good for your immune system and B Vitamins that can help you maintain good health. Plus, it’s vegan-friendly.

However, if I want to consume Celsius, I usually go with the powdered version. Its powdered version is called Celsius On-the-go.

It has the same content as the canned version and it’s more flexible since it allows you to control your dosage much more.

Which Energy Drink is Healthiest?

If you’re looking for the healthiest energy drinks, you can see my list on this link. Aside from that, I think these energy drinks would be a good option.

Monster Zero Ultra

Monster has this version that also has 160mg of caffeine. This is by far the healthiest Monster version and still has the signature Monster flavor!

By the way, Monster Energy has a lot of variations, and this one doesn’t have any sugar and calories. Also, you can have this one in different flavors.

Red Bull

Red Bull has less caffeine and sugar than Monster or Celsius. It has 80mg of caffeine and 27g, that’s actually near the limit. It’s a good thing it’s not that much than what Monster has.

This energy drink is popular in any sports event worldwide. Therefore, I think even if it has a low amount of caffeine, it would still work fine in enhancing your performance. Before I forget, Red Bull has a sugar-free version as well.

So, if you’re not comfortable with its sugar content, you can still have the same beverage, just minus the sugar.

REIZE (Top Pick)

REIZE is the healthiest option compared to Celsius and Monster. It’s packed with taurine, Vitamin Bs, and ginseng that can level up your performance while guarding your body’s health.

Moreover, it has no sugar and uses only 50mg of caffeine. Just like Celsius, it contains only a few calories.

It can also help you drink water more, for it comes in powdered form. You can mix REIZE in cold or hot water depending on your need. I love how convenient the sachets are and that I can whip up a fresh glass anytime I want.

Reize Energy Drink

You can get REIZE for only around $1 and you can even have your orders shipped straight to your door.

Final Verdict

For me, Celsius is a much healthier choice because it has some additional nutrients and zero sugar. As you can see, my favorite beverage doesn’t contain any sugar as well.

I also like how it has nutrients such as Biotin, which are beneficial to your skin and hair. This is one of the factors that make Celsius different from Monster. Although Monster has sodiumCelsius is packed with Vitamin C, which is also good for your bones.

Anyway, whichever you choose from these two, don’t drink two servings in one day. This can prevent you from suffering possible side effects.

Is Celsius Energy Drink Healthy? (Revealed) – REIZECLUB

I know a lot of brands out there claim that their products are healthy. But let’s get to the point: energy drinks are actually not healthy for you. However, it doesn’t have any terrible effects either for as long as you consume it in moderation.

Celsius, in particular, is a brand that has built an image that centers on its health benefits. And it’s easy to see why! After all, the energy drink has a ton of micronutrients, thermogenic properties, and minimal caffeine and sugar.

But as I said, I wouldn’t really call Celsius healthy, especially if this claim can lead consumers to let loose and consume too much.

In this article, I’ll be doing a deep dive on Celsius’ ingredients and see if it really is good for your health!

Let’s start exploring.

What’s In A Can of Celsius Energy Drink?

I’ve listed here the nutritional value you can get out of a 12 fl. oz (355ml) can of Celsius:

Elements Amount Per Can
Carbohydrates 2g
Caffeine 200mg
Vitamin C 60mg
Riboflavin 1.7mg
Niacin 20mg
Pantothenic Acid 10mg
Pyridoxine 1mg
Biotin 300mcg
Cobalmin 6mcg
Calcium 50mg
Chromium 50mcg
Sodium 0g
Nutritional Value of Celsius.

Celsius Ingredients

This energy drink has a Meta plus Proprietary Blend. A proprietary blend is a group of other ingredients used in any product in which the medication isn’t disclosed.

You can find the following ingredients in a can of Celsius:

  • Taurine
  • Guarana extract
  • Glucuronolactone
  • Ginger root extract
  • Green tea leaf extract
  • Carbonated filtered water
  • Citric acid
  • Fruit juice
  • vegetable juice
  • Sucralose
  • Natural flavor

I’m glad to see that many natural ingredients like Ginger root, green tea, and fruit extracts had come to the Celsius ingredients list.

Moreover, it has Biotin, which benefits your hair and skin. It’s kind of unusual because this vitamin isn’t common in energy drinks. But, it’s actually a good thing because it’s beneficial to your skin and hair.

How Much Caffeine is in Celsius?

There is around 200mg of caffeine in a can of Celsius. As I’ve mentioned before, caffeine can help you work out effectively.

While it doesn’t directly give you energy, it can make your mind alert, encouraging you to finish your task.

Whether it’s physical or mental work, Celsius has got you covered. It can even boost your cognitive performance just like coffee but much more powerful. However, there’s only a limit to caffeine you should take per day.

Are Celsius Drinks Good for You?

According to its makers, Celsius is good for you. As for me, I think they emphasize more on the part where it can help you burn calories and bad fats.

This article claims that taking caffeine before exercise can increase your fat oxidation. And this works at any time of the day.

It can’t be denied that Celsius is suitable for activity because of its caffeine content. Plus, the micronutrients can enhance your mental performance too, so that all sounds good to me.

What are the Side Effects of Celsius Energy Drinks?

According to the FDA, you need to keep your caffeine consumption below 400mg per day. Following their instructions can help you avoid the side effects of caffeine overdose.

In case of a caffeine overdose, you may experience one or a combination of the following symptoms:

  • Headaches
  • Fever
  • Dizziness
  • Tiredness
  • Palpitations
  • Nervousness

In addition, it can also cause anxiety and insomnia. My advice is, don’t take it hours before you go to sleep because 200mg of caffeine can keep you up until the mornings.

Do You Drink Celsius Before or After a Workout?

It’s preferable to drink Celsius in the morning before any physical activity. While you can also make it as a replacement to your usual coffee, you shouldn’t make it as one, especially if you don’t have any physically demanding tasks.

This energy drink will reveal its boosting effects within 15-20 minutes of consuming it. Don’t expect that it’ll work instantly because it won’t.

However, for other individuals, the effects might be different. For example, if you have a high tolerance for caffeine, it could work much later.

In case your tolerance is low, there’s a chance you’ll experience the effects sooner. Just be careful, though, as 200mg of caffeine might be enough for you to suffer from caffeine crashes.

Does Celsius Contain Any Added Sugar?

Celsius is sugar-free, and it uses an artificial sweetener called sucralose instead. This sucralose doesn’t add any additional calories to your diet.

Products use artificial sweeteners in replacement of natural sugar. As you may know, overconsuming sugar is also bad for your health. According to this article, you’re only allowed to take 30g of sugar per day.

While some advise that 40g of sugar is still okay, I don’t think you should consume so much sugar regularly. For me, the lesser, the better, and that’s the same with caffeine.

Aside from sugar crashes, products with artificial sweeteners can help your insulin resistance. This makes it an approved substance for people with diabetes. Moreover, using artificial sweeteners also prevents sudden headaches.

That could help a little in countering the headaches you might get from caffeine crashes. However, it isn’t a reason to drink more servings. Remember that artificial sweeteners are bad for long-term use as well.

Is Celsius Really Bad for Your Heart?

Energy drinks as a whole can be bad for your heart, so you should be wary. While Celsius has a lot of caffeine, it shouldn’t be terrible for your heart unless you have an underlying heart condition.

Limiting yourself to one serving of Celsius per day is also important to stay safe.

If you watch this video, you’ll find out it’s the same for most energy drinks.

The doctor says energy drinks are also bad for your kidney!

Energy drinks can increase your heart rate and blood pressure. So, stop consuming Celsius and start drinking water as soon as you experience these bad effects.

Also, consult a doctor if you experience any irregularities.

Is Celsius Healthier than Monster?

A single can of Monster Energy contains 160mg of caffeine, which is a bit lower than what Celsius has.

You’ll notice that Celsius has more nutrients than Monster on a quick look. Traveling, both of them are still unhealthy. Therefore, don’t think of relying on energy drinks for a boost.

It’s much better to rely on good sleep and follow a proper diet for energy. It doesn’t have to be a lot of sleeping hours. The quality of your sleep should be there.

Remember that the FDA didn’t really say that energy drinks are healthy. But to avoid any side effects and health problems, they made guidelines as to how much of the ingredients is still safe for you to take.

Which reminds me, Monster has 54g of sugar. This amount is definitely above the suggested sugar limit. If you think your body can’t take it, just stick to other sugar-free beverages.

Is Celsius Healthy to Drink Every day?

You’re allowed to take it every day. But I don’t think that’s healthy. Remember, these energy drinks have synthetic ingredients.

These ingredients are harmful to your body. You have to let your body rest from artificial ingredients sometimes. If you really can’t help taking energy drinks, at least have one can only every other day.

In my opinion, if you are going to drink it every day, you better keep it to one can a day only!

Energy Drink Alternatives to Celsius

Zipfizz is a powdered energy drink with caffeine from guarana seed, only 100mg. Aside from that, it’s also rich in taurine and L-Arginine with only a few added calories.

Zipfizz doesn’t have any sugar content, just like Celsius. It uses substances like xylitol and sucralose for the sweet flavor of the beverage.

Ghost Gamer

One sachet of Ghost Gamer has 75mg of caffeine. This dosage might be little than Celsius has, but you can also add your dosage if you buy their tub version. You can use it as an effective pre-workout energy drink with two scoops of it.

This vegan energy drink is also packed with taurine, L-Tyrosine, and other nutrients. It’s indeed a good drink for physical and mental activities because it has these contents.

REIZE (The Best)

REIZE is my bet because of its sugar-free nature and only 50mg of caffeine. Plus, it would give you a compelling lift in energy without causing crashes.

REIZE Energy Drink

It’s also enclosed in a conservative 4g powdered sachet which you can mix in hot or cold water. Moreover, it’s rich in B Vitamins, Taurine, and ginseng, which are suitable for your overall well-being. I love how I can take the sachets with me anywhere and whip up a fresh glass!

I also like its gentle and more natural taste than any other energy drink. more, I like how it’s free of sugar and has just enough caffeine for a solid energy boost without causing jitters.

You can get REIZE for only around $1 and you can even have your orders shipped straight to your door. That’s amazing value for your money.

The Final Say

Generally, Celsius has no sugar, which somehow makes it a little better than sugary energy drinks. It’s also beneficial to your workout goal, but that’s not enough to say it’s healthy.

Besides, it can still make your body suffer from side effects if you happen to consume much of it. But if you drink it every once in a while and drink it moderatelyit should be fine for you!

That said, remember not to mix it with any alcohol to avoid more harmful effects on your health.

Is Celsius Actually Good for you?

Yes, I can say that Celsius is pretty good for you considering it’s a low-carb energy drink.

It has a calorie count of only 10 per serving, so it won’t have a significant influence on your calorie-restricted diet.

On the other hand, caffeine-sensitive people should shy away from Celsius due to its high caffeine content. Caffeine may be to blame for any ill effects you may get with Celsius since it is just 100mg short of its daily limits.

So to avoid any unwanted side effects from high caffeine consumption, the FDA recommends that you limit your daily caffeine intake to 400 mg or less.

I’ve covered this topic in a lot more detail in my other article, so if you want to dig a little deeper, definitely check out my “is Celsius bad for you?” article.

What Does Celsius Taste Like?

Well, the taste of Celsius differs widely depending on their different flavors. But one thing is for sure, unlike many other energy drinks with a syrupy or nauseating taste, Celsius has a fresh and light taste. With that said, the Sparkling Wild Berry and Watermelon flavors were two of my favorites.

Although you may come across some reviews claiming that Celsius has a “synthetic” aftertaste, I personally, couldn’t detect it. Even so, I believe Celsius to be better than similar brands.

Indeed, Celsius is a terrific beverage to have on hand when you’re feeling a little low on energy or if you’re craving something sweet. However, a single can packs quite a punch because of its caffeine content, so I recommend just consuming half of it at a time and waiting for it to take effect.

Let me just warn you as a regular energy consumer drinks, after a few months of regular drinking, you’ll start to lose some of the benefits of caffeine. As a result, you may want to try skipping a day of drinking Celsius now and then to drink less caffeine, reduce your tolerance, and then return to them for a fresher effect.

Invest in yourself, drink Celsius.

What Does Celsius Orange Taste Like?

If you’ve ever had Orangeyou’ll know exactly what I’m talking about when I say that Celsius’s Sparkling Orange tastes like a refreshing orange soda.

Take pleasure in the luscious and rich taste of oranges in this flavor to help you get through the day. I think having some hints of orange zest taste in every drink will make them more delicious.

That’s what Celsis did, each of their flavors has this citrusy taste. So, trust me when I say that you will not be disappointed if you try all of their flavors.

Celsius Flavors Ranked

While Celsius offers a wide selection of tastes to choose from, I can only pick five that I believe are particularly deserving of your attention.

  1. Sparkling Wild Berry

Simply said, the Sparkling Wild Berry Celsius flavor is the best. This combination of antioxidant-rich fruits is the first thing I go for when I need a quick energy boost.

The sweetness, tartness, and juiciness of the blueberries and raspberries in this drink are all well balanced.

Make the most of your workout while you’re enjoying the delightful taste of wild berries! Celsius’s Wild Berry is the perfect go-to refreshment for those who like their exercise drinks with a bit of fizz.

  1. Sparkling Watermelon

The sparkling Watermelon flavor makes it into this list of the best flavors from Celsius.

Something about this watermelon taste transports you to a tropical paradise. Your body and mind will be revitalized with just one sip of this flavor.

  1. Sparkling Grape

Indulge in a delectable burst of succulent grapes to satiate your thirst. The benefit of grape flavor is that it always provides a recognized taste.

There are just a few different variations of this fruit taste. In general, if you like grapes, you’ll appreciate this taste as much as I do.

  1. Sparkling Fuji Apple Pear

The crisp, delicious combination of Fuji apple and pearl might help you feel more energized.

The apple is delicious enough already, but the sweetness is amplified even more when coupled with pear. The sweetness of this taste will appeal to those who like sugary treats.

  1. Sparkling Peach Mango

Peaches and mangos are a match made in heaven. When it comes to mango as a standalone fruit treat, I’m not a massive fan, but it’s an excellent taste booster in soft drinks.

And, of course, it’s impossible to go wrong when it comes to peaches in any form. Peach is a must-have in any form, whether fruit or beverage.

Energy Drink Alternatives to Celsius

Here are some alternative brands you can try if you believe Celsius is a little too much for your taste buds and caffeine tolerance.

Reign is a pretty decent workout buddy in the gym. It has all you need, including a solid amount of caffeine and nutrition to get you through those sets.

For the record, a typical 16-ounce can of Reign has 300mg of caffeine, 0 to 10 calories. It is sugar-free, with a dash of vitamins, BCAAs, and CoQ10 added for good measure.

No matter how you look it, Reign accomplishes exactly what it says on the can. However, you may want to consider your caffeine tolerance before consuming it since not everyone can tolerate the high level of caffeine that it contains.

Full Throttle

Full Throttle can assist you with your body’s goals and demands, so your quest in finding a potent energy drink ends here.

Full Throttle has 160 milligrams of caffeine, 230 calories, and 55 grams of sugar per serving. Not to mention, B-vitamins, which your body needs to function correctly, are also included in Full Throttle.

REIZE (Best Choice)

After reading about Celsius, I’m sure you’re probably thinking that it does not get any better than this. Well, I hate to break it to you, but you’re wrong.

If you’re looking for an energy drink that’s on the go, REIZE is your best bet.

There are just four grams of powder in the packet, making it very light for its intended use as a travel-friendly energy drink.

Also, in contrast to Celsius’s high caffeine content, I’m confident you’ll enjoy REIZE more. Taking only 50 mg of REIZE will provide you a nice energy boost without making you lose your cool or make you unable to concentrate.

Not to mention, REIZE has a mix of taurine, ginseng, and B-vitamins in the formulation, delivering a long-lasting boost that doesn’t leave you with a crash.

Other energy drinks you should try:

• Bang

Overall, Celsius ranks very high on my personal list of favorite energy drinks owing to the wide variety of flavors available, as well as the inclusion of key and vitamins and minerals.

However, be mindful not to go overboard with these drinks since a single dose contains 200mg of caffeine. Even though they are fantastic, keep in mind that energy drinks might have adverse side effects if they are consumed in excess.

Yet, despite its high caffeine concentration, this pre-workout drink is made of natural ingredients, not to mention it tastes great.

Still, no matter how tasty or beneficial they may look, Celsius is still an energy drink that comes with side effects.

Celsius Vs Alani Nu (Which is Better?) – REIZECLUB

After its launch in 2005, Celsius energy drink has come pretty far in offering energy boosts to athletes and their fans alike. Meanwhile, Alani Nu Energy was more recently launched in 2018, but it has also been making headway in establishing a name for itself.

Despite their big gap, they have some similarities and only a few differences. First off, you can use both before a workout but not before your bedtime. They both have 200mg of caffeine, and with that amount, you can expect yourself to get energy for around 3-4 hours.

Just imagine the alertness it could give you with its caffeine level. They can be an excellent alternative to coffee because they could help get you alive and kicking for your day. Although Alani Nu has a more trendy appeal, they both have neat packages.

It can be difficult to determine which is better since we all have different needs and tolerance. Still, this article can give you an in-depth look at what both of these brands can offer so you can make the decision yourself!

Celsius and Alani Nu Ingredients

Taurine is the common ingredient inside Celsius and Alani Nu. Although they don’t specify the amount, this article states that energy drinks most likely use 1g of taurine in a single can or sachet.

This element can help reduce stress in your muscles. It can also help you become more physically active as well.

Because Celsius or Alani Nu have taurine and there are other ingredients you can find inside them.

Celsius vs Alani Nu Caffeine Content

These two energy drinks both contain a whopping 200mg of caffeine. It can definitely give you an additional push for your workout.

Besides, with 200mg of caffeine, you can go on for a pretty long time.

Here’s a video that’ll show you how caffeine works in your body.

It explains how it works from the moment you take it.

However, it’s not a good idea to consume too many servings of them. According to the FDA, you should only take up to 400mg of caffeine every day. They find out that going over this limit could lead to adverse side effects.

Some caffeine overdose side effects involve:

  • Headaches
  • Fever

Always make sure to track how much caffeine you’re taking for a day. This is important because it’s a practice of discipline and accountability to your health.

Celsius vs. Alani Nu Sugar Content

They are both sugar-free as well. According to this study, sugar-free products won’t lead to obesity and diabetes because they won’t have glycemic effects on your blood sugar.

Moreover, these two energy drinks use artificial sweeteners that benefit persons with diabetes. Alani Nu uses sucralose, and acesulfame potassium, while Celsius uses sucralose only.

These two artificial sweeteners are approved by the FDA for general useeven if you use two kinds of artificial sweeteners in a single product.

In addition, It doesn’t contain any additional calorieswhich makes it perfect for your diet goals. The only thing I don’t like about artificial sweeteners is the tendency to create tooth problems. It could be in a form of tooth decay when you overconsume products that use such.

Just a quick trivia, according to this articleyou should only allow 30g of sugar inside your body every day. The effects of consuming a lot of sugar are somehow identical to the impact of caffeine crashes.

I think Celsius and Alani Nu are wise not to use natural sugar. How does this affect their taste, though?

Celsius Vs. Alani Nu Flavors

Because of artificial sweeteners, they’re both tasty. Celsius flavors are refreshing, light, and without any annoying flavor that you find in other energy drinks.

The best one for me is the Sparkling Orange flavor because you can taste the orange citrus flavor, plus the carbonization makes it even better.

Celsius has other flavors such as:

  • Originals
  • Sparkling Fuji Apple Pear
  • Sparkling Kiwi Guava
  • Sparkling Wild Berry
  • Sparkling Watermelon
  • Sparkling Col
  • Sparkling Grape Rush
  • Peach Mango Green Tea
  • Raspberry Acai Green Tea

On the other hand, Alani Nu’s Cosmic Stardust flavor will give you a fruity experience. Its berry taste and cotton candy flavor are sweet and savvy. Here are its other flavors:

  • Cosmic Stardust
  • Witch’s Brew
  • Hawaiian Shaved Ice
  • Mimosa
  • Tropsicle
  • Trippy hippie
  • Electric Tie-Dye Cherry Limeade
  • Watermelon Wave flavor
  • Arctic White
  • Breezeberry
  • Carnival Candy Grape
  • Cherry Slush
  • Rainbow Candy
  • Sour Peach Rings

I have to say that in my opinion, Alani Nu has a more diverse flavor range than Celsius, which focuses more on fruit-based drinks. But then again, if you’re more into that, Alani Nu may be the right brand for you.

Is Alani Nu or Celsius better?

Alani Nu might be the newer energy drink, but both Celsius and Alani Nu are created for a boost in exercise. You might have noticed that they share the same caffeine content.

They’re also vegan-friendly and gluten-free. This means that they don’t contain a protein called gluten. This protein can irritate the digestive system of other individuals who have celiac disease.

They may be good energy drinks, but I still prefer energy drinks with only 50-100mg caffeine. In addition, I also love it if an energy drink is available in the powdered version.

This is because powdered drinks can help you control your dose easier. Aside from that, isn’t it much convenient if you can just take a sachet anywhere?

Before I forget, Celsius has a powdered stick version too. This makes it a little better than Alani Nu for me.

Where Can You Buy Celsius and Alani Nu?

Because Celsius have been around for a long time, it’s available in any convenient stores and online platforms such as Amazon for around $35 per 12-can pack.

On the other hand, you might encounter some challenges in purchasing Alani Nu. You can only buy Alani Nu in selected areas. Moreover, you can only purchase it via their website or GNC for around $22.50 per 12 cans.

If you have a limited budget, I’d say that Alani Nu is more wallet-friendly, especially if you want to drink them long-term.

Still, there are other energy drinks that can offer the same and flavor range for only around $1 per serving, so don’t think you’re just limited to either Celsius or Alani Nu.

Alternative Energy Drinks

You might want to try an energy drink with a lower dosage of caffeine. You can check out energy drinks in the next sections.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for a strong energy drink, I also have a list for that. Here’s a link to my separate article.

Aspire Energy claims to be vegan-friendly too. Aspire uses no natural sugar, and it has only 80g of caffeinethe same amount as what your typical coffee has.

Even though it has a much lower amount of caffeine than Celsius and Alani Nu, please don’t take it at nighttime to avoid insomnia. This also applies to other energy drinks.

In addition, it has a combination of vitamins and amino acids that could help you perform better, whether mentally or physically. It also tastes sweet and affordable. For less than a dollar, you can enjoy a can of Aspire without having to worry about sugar and caffeine crashes.

Razorwire has only 150mg of caffeine and doesn’t have any sugar. Aside from that, it’s also made better by its taurine and vitamin B, which could increase your concentration, relaxation, and reflexes.

The taste also has a natural tropical theme, but it has only six flavors. This means you could instantly decide what flavor to go with. Like Alani Nu, a sachet costs only $2 if you buy its 6-pack sachet for $10.

REIZE (The Best)

REIZE has only one flavorbut it won’t disappoint you. It has a gentle taste powered by 50mg of caffeine. The good thing about this amount of caffeine is that you’re not at greater risk of suffering from caffeine overdose.

It’s good for you if your caffeine tolerance is low compared to Alani Nu and Celsius’s caffeine content. Besides, it’s also Sugar-free with only a few calories. Apart from that, it has B Vitamins, taurine, inositol, and ginseng, which are good for your overall health.

While you won’t enjoy it if you have high caffeine tolerance, it’s not a problem at all. Simply mix another one in hot or cold water. If you can, I highly suggest you don’t get past two sachets per day to help cut your tolerance to caffeine.

Other Notable Mentions

It’s pretty hard to choose which one is better. They’re a tie, for me. Alani Nu has these electrolytes that aren’t present in Celsius, and Celsius has vitamin C, which Alani Nu doesn’t have.

On the other hand, these two have B Vitamins and biotin that have a similar function. Together, they help your body use enzymes and deliver other vitamins throughout your body.

They both offer various flavors with powerful energy. Try any of this energy drink early in the morning or during a weekend workout. You won’t feel any heartburn even though they have 200mg of caffeine, and the power is there.

You can consume one of them around 30 minutes before your workout for a much better experience. And if you happen to feel some jitters, you can always switch to REIZE.
