Pakistan will approach Saudi Arabia for action against those chanting slogans in Masjid Nabavi, Rana said

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Friday said that Pakistan would humbly request Saudi Arabia to take action against those who chanted slogans in Masjid Nabavi and insulted ministers.

Rana Sanaullah said that the Interior Ministry has sought advice from the Law Ministry on legal action against the accused.

Rana Sanaullah added that the incident could provoke religious sentiments. They spread unrest in the country. These people should be sent back from the Holy Land. Attempts are being made to obtain CCTV footage to take action against them. The law ministry has been asked to advise us on whether we can sue them.

The Home Minister warned the former Prime Minister to refrain from spreading chaos and hatred in the country. PTI Chairman Imran Khan is spreading chaos in the country to achieve his political goals.

Qamar Zaman Kaira in his remarks also strongly condemned the despicable act of a handful of elements in the second holiest place on earth for Muslims. He said that Imran Khan should give up the practice . To spreading hatred and creating division in the society for his own interests. He said that Imran Khan’s politics is the politics of fascism with the belief that only he and his party have the right to live in this country.

Qamar Zaman Kaira said that no one will be allowed to target the institutions.

The embarrassing incident took place on Thursday when the pilgrims chanted “Shahbaz Sharif, thief, thief” . When the Prime Minister along with his delegation reached the Prophet’s Mosque.

Security guards cordoned off the vehicle of Shahbaz Sharif and other leaders. After visitors expressed anger at the delegation including Shahzain Bugti and Maryam Aurangzeb.
