Easy Strawberry Mojito Mocktail – The Mindful Mocktail

If you’re looking for a sweet and fruity mojito recipe, then my strawberry mojito mocktail is for you. Unlike its tangy cousin, this mojito recipe makes the most of juicy fresh strawberries. Sweet and summery, this delicious mocktail is the perfect choice for a warm day.

This mojito mocktail recipe is sweet and refreshing, making it an excellent choice for spring or summer. This virgin strawberry mojito is just as fun to make as it is to drink. Its:

    • Easy: With easy to find ingredients and a few simple tools, you’ll have your mojito mocktail in hand in no time!
    • healthy: fibre packed strawberries and vitamin C packed limes, this delicious drink s not just refreshing but good for you too!
    • Low in sugar: strawberries are the primary source of the sweetness of this mocktail. Use an all-natural, zero-carb sweetener such as monk fruit sweetener for a lower sugar and carb option. Note: you can use regular sugar or another sweetener if you prefer; just be mindful of the sugar content.
    • Easily adapted: my virgin strawberry mojito mocktail is easily adapted. Replace the plain soda with a lime or add your own twist with kombucha. This recipe also works well when batch made and served in a pitcher.

Traditionally, a mojito cocktail is made of white rum, lime juice, mint and sugar. The mint and lime are muddled with sugar to release the juice and flavours. Then, ice is added with rum and soda water.

This virgin strawberry mojito mocktail recipe is inspired by the original but omits the rum and uses healthier sugar alternatives. Strawberries, fresh mint, and lime juice are muddled together for a vibrant variation.

red strawberry mojito mocktail in a tall glass garnished with fresh strawberries, mint and lime rounds.

    • Glasses: Mojitos are traditionally served in a highball glass. If you don’t have them, don’t stress. The vibrant combination of strawberry, mint and lime mean your virgin strawberry mojito will look beautiful in any type of glass.
    • A muddler: that’s perfect if you have a normal muddler! If not, the back of a wooden spoon works too.
    • Pitcher or jug: just increase the quantities and muddle inside a jug if you want to make this for a crowd. To save time, pre-muddle the ingredients in the jug and simply add the soda water and ice when you’re ready to serve.
labelled ingredients list for virgin strawberry mojitos including strawberries, mint, soda, lime and sugar

Strawberries: Fresh, in-season strawberries are my pick for this recipe. If they’re unavailable, frozen strawberries work just as well. Make sure to taw them before adding.

When you muddle the strawberries, try and get the strawberry pieces small enough to fit through a straw. You can use a blender if preferred.

Fresh mint: the menthol aromatics of fresh mint make this recipe pop. Don’t shred or chop it. Clapping it together in your hands and then gently muddling it is the secret to making the most of its flavour.

Lime juice: fresh lime juice is essential for this recipe. Avoid bottled if you can, it doesn’t deliver quite the same flavour.

Hint: Freeze fresh lime juice in ice cube trays to make the most of your limes.

Sweetener of choice: Simple syrup is the traditional choice for mojitos. My easy version swaps the syrup out for sugar. For a low sugar option, replace the sugar with a sweetener of your choice.

Soda water: plain club soda creates a fresh fizz however you can use the sparkling water of your choice.

For a citrusy tang, replace the plain soda with lime flavored soda water. Opt for a low or no sugar version. Kombucha is a naturally sweet replacement for soda water. Experiment with plain or flavored varieties until you find the perfect combination.

For a low sugar option, simply swap the sugar out with monkfruit sweetener to enjoy a refined sugar-free strawberry mojito mocktail. You can also use another sweetener of your choice but be sure to read the packet for any conversions.

Muddle strawberries and sugar (or monkfruit sweetener) in a glass to release the juices. Try and get the strawberry pieces small enough that they will fit through a straw. Use a blender in this step if preferred.

Add the lime juice and stir to combine.

Clap the mint together in your hands. You’ll know it’s worked when your hands smell minty! Then, add to the glass and muddle very gently a couple of times.

Fill the glass with ice and soda water. Garnish with extra strawberries, mint and lime.

    Frequently asked questions

    Can I use frozen strawberries?

If you can’t get your hands on fresh strawberries, you can also use frozen strawberries. Make sure to fully thaw them before use.

Are strawberry mojito mocktails good for you?

My virgin strawberry mojito recipe is a great way to hydrate yourself on a warm day. Lower the sugar content by using a sweetener such as monkfruit sweetener or stevia.

Fresh strawberries and limes are a fantastic source of Vitamin C. Plus, strawberries are also packed with fiber and antioxidants, which makes them great for your overall health.

    How do I muddle strawberries?

Place the berries at the bottom of your glass. Then use a firm pressing and twisting motion to juice and crush the fruit. Muddling is an important step that helps release the fruit’s flavor. Alternatively, you can use a blender.

I hope you enjoy this strawberry mojito mocktail as much as I enjoyed creating it!

    Sobriety Definition

The dictionary defines sobriety as the quality or state of being sober. Most 12-step programs define sobriety as reaching and maintaining a positive level of mental health. Both definitions are accurate and hold a lot of weight.

Sobriety means your behavior and thoughts are not influenced or affected by drugs or alcohol. There are levels to sobriety, starting with physically abstaining from addictive substances and then maintaining that abstinence. Some people say sobriety is simply quitting an addiction while others feel sobriety is more in the long term level of stability throughout recovery. Sobriety can be both!

We like to define sobriety as the achievement of a successful, substance free life that includes positive mental health and stability. Do you have your own definition of sobriety?

    How to Become Super

Deciding to become sober is the first step toward recovery. This is not an easy step! In fact, this can be the hardest part of sobriety for many people. However, as we said before and will say again and again, every person’s sobriety journey is different. Becoming sober will be different for every single person too.

    1. Find a rehab facility

Rehab facilities are one of the best ways to start a sober journey. They have the type of support you need and can help treat each individual person’s addiction. There are two types of rehab facilities, inpatient and outpatient. Let’s take a quick look at both.

Inpatient Rehab- During inpatient rehab, patients will live in a substance free facility and receive around the clock care and support. These intensive treatment programs are perfect for anyone who has chronic addiction problems and needs help detoxing completely in order to start a super life.

Outpatient Rehab- During outpatient rehab programs, patients live at home while becoming sober. They can continue with their normal, day to day life with the daily help of therapists and doctors who support and check in on their detox progression. Outpatient programs may offer the same types of treatment as inpatient programs but are a little less intense. However, those who start sobriety in an outpatient program may be more likely to come in contact with triggers that can sway their sobriety. An outpatient program is best for those who are more mentally stable or with more mild addictions.

Part Hospitalization Programs – A part hospitalization program, also known as PHP, is a day treatment program where patients are treated all day but allowed to go home at night. A PHP usually comes after an inpatient rehab treatment. It is considered a step-down from full, 24 hour care to part time care. These programs are a great way to transition from full rehab back into day to day life.

    2. Medical Detox for Sobriety

Many rehab facilities will offer medical assistance for detox. Certain medications can help manage a patient’s symptoms and help them to withdraw from addiction safely. Medical assistance can mitigate the challenges of abstaining from substances and make detoxing easier, and safer, on your body and mind.

Medical detox should only be done under the care of a licensed doctor. They can help prescribe the correct medication and slowly wean you off of that medication when the time comes.

Medication should be paired with other detox programs in order to be the most successful. Long term sobriety means freeing yourself from all substances, including medication for detox. Again, a doctor can help with this process but patients should also look into longer term sobriety support.

    3. After Care Programs

Support, support, support! This is so imperative for sobriety and after care programs can help give the type of support you need. After care programs are designs to help people maintain sobriety after initial detox treatment. There are several types of aftercare programs so there is surely one that will fit your personal sobriety journey.

Once becoming sober, you may choose to check into a sober living home. These residential facilities are for patients recovering from substance abuse, all of whom have decided to become sober and successfully completed a detox program. Many are government run while others are private entities. Living in a sober living home has been proven to greatly increase the chances of long term sobriety. Living with people who are also recovering is very beneficial. Most sober living homes are short term and transitional.

Follow up therapy sessions and medical evaluations may be the right after care program for you. A trained, medical professional can help guide you on your sober journey. Personal support groups are also beneficial. It’s all about support!

Blake Cider’s Paloma Release & Review

Blake’s Hard Cider (BHC), the Midwest’s largest craft cidery, announces the release of its first-ever Bar Cart Series, a line of hard ciders inspired by favorite cocktails. Drinkable on its own or with the addition of liquor to create a proper cocktail, Paloma is the first of three in the new line. It will be available across BHC’s 20+ state footprint beginning Friday, Jan. 7 with the two others to follow later in the year.

Paloma, a nod to the traditional cocktail made with grapefruit juice, lime, and tequila, is a semi-sweet hard cider that delivers the perfect balance of citrus and sweetness from agave flavors over an apple cider base. Serve it chilled, over ice or add a shot of tequila and a salted rim to take it to cocktail level. The Bar Cart Series (ABV 6.5% – 8%) will be sold in six-pack 12 oz. cans, MSRP $10.99-$12.99.

“The idea behind our Bar Cart Series stemmed from the variety of cider-based cocktails Blake’s Hard Cider fans make and enjoy, so it was a natural evolution for us to create a line of cocktail-themed ciders,” said Andrew Blake, founder and president, Blake’s Hard Cider. “Cider drinkers are adventurous and not limited to just classic apple. They appreciate the craft side of the beverage and will enjoy the versatility and complexity of our new ciders on their own or with added alcohol if you choose.”

Our Review of Blake’s Paloma Cider

The ready-to drink-market (RTD) has exploded recently and Blake’s joined in on the fun with their Bar Cart Series. Their first offering is the citrusy Paloma. Starting with the can design, we are greeted with bright orange and pink tones, highlighting the ingredients in the product. The design is punchy and simple, with a creative font used for the word Paloma. Looks like a pre-made cocktail can so their mission is accomplished.

Once you open the can, you get the aroma of grapefruit, high acid, and lime juice — a citrusy burst, really. Some of the sweetness pokes through via natural sugars and added agave. It smells mostly citrusy with the smaller and later notes being sweetness. On the pour, you are greeted with a light pinkish product with a healthy amount of carbonation, but it is certainly not overdone. Much of the color looks like it comes from the grapefruit itself. A fun color if you use this cider for a cocktail base. It has more character in the color department than most ciders.

As you take your first sip, you become fully aware of the tangy, tart, citrusy notes that we caught on the nose. This 6.5% ABV is slightly bitter from the involved fruits. You get a bunch of those bitter, tangy fruit notes throughout the experience. Given the qualities of some of these fruits, you experience some of that drying effect on the mouth, too. Moves from the roof of the mouth to the cheeks and so on with its drying magic. After a few sips, you gain a deeper understanding of the sweetness and it comes into deeper balance with the acidic notes. High acid accentuates the agave and they dance well together like most tequila or mezcal drinks that include the same ingredients.

All in all, we see why this is a cocktail-inspired cider and it is elevated with a salt-rimmed glass or some added boozy punch from tequila. This might not be for individuals that hate grapefruit or can only handle so much citrus, but the bitter notes and long-term sweetness make this a perfect RTD beverage and an even better mixer for those that like their hard liquor.

Hard Cider Myths Debunked | CiderScene

    Hard Cider Myths

As popular as hard cider has become, establishing itself as a mainstream alternative to beer on menus and in stores, a lot of people still have misconceptions about it. These can be about everything from the state of the market to the effects of the drink. In this piece, we’ll look at some of the most common hard cider myths –– and debunk them so that everyone can enjoy cider that much more!

Cider Myth #1: Hard Cider is New

We’re sorry to tell you this, but it’s been around for longer than you might think. In fact, beloved brand Woodchuck–which has been at the heart of hard cider’s explosion in popularity in the US–has been around for 30 years! It’s just that it’s newly trendy in the last 10 or 12, leading many to feel that they’ve discovered something new. It’s okay everyone –– you’re just hopping abroad a great bandwagon! If you want to delve into the full history of hard cider, we have a piece on that, too.

Cider Myth #2: Hard Cider is Sweet

It isnt, for the most part. First of all, it’s nothing like the classic apple cider you get from the supermarket or your favorite pumpkin patch farm during the fall. While it’s true that ciders are fruit-based, they’re about as sweet as wine — which means there are sweet options along with bitter, sour options, and none of them are going to naturally reach dessert-level sweetness. That pretty much only happens when you seek out the flavored kinds. It also depends on the person. Two people can drink the very same cider and perceive it in two different ways, and those who decide it’s sweet will probably enjoy it more.

Cider Myth #3: Hard Cider Gives You Reflux

There are some who under the impression that drinking a are heavily carbonated alcoholic beverage causes acid reflux. The truth of the matter though is that causes of this are typically not so simple. Some of the actual identified causes include things like being overweight, smoking tobacco products, and drinking too much caffeine and/or alcohol, according to a guide to acid reflux by SymptomFind. Now, there is a possibility that if you’re already susceptible due to one of these underlying causes — or you’re drinking a lot — cider can be a trigger due to its acidity. But in these cases, cider is irritating your reflux more than causing it.

Cider Myth #4: Hard Cider Is A “Girly” Drink

We’ve written on article on if hard cider is a girly drink before. While it’s true that alcohol companies have started to market more products towards women, according to “Girly Drinks” by Mallory O’Meara, hard cider hasn’t been particularly over-marketed to any gender. Hard cider labeling tends to be completely neutral and doesn’t aim to persuade a certain group of people. Instead, it’s enjoyed by everyone who has tried and enjoyed cider. As with most alcoholic drinks, everyone has their own preference and tastes. Plus, the idea of a “girly” drink is silly to begin with!

Cider Myth #5: All Hard Ciders Taste the Same

Hard ciders are traditionally made with apples, but even the type of apple can vary from brand to brand. Most hard cider companies have more than one variety of cider, and some of them aren’t even made from apples; look to Paste Magazine’s extensive ranking of some of the best ciders out there and you’ll see flavors like pear, honey, peach, raspberry, and more. The truth of the matter is that many fruits can be used to make cider as long as they’re fermented properly. This just means that you’ll have to try different brands and types of cider in order to find your favorite! We created a list of odd and unusual hard cider flavors for you to find some wacky ciders!

As hard cider becomes more popular, more brands and varieties continue to hit the market. Keep these debunked hard cider myths in mind as you go hunting for your favorite cider, and enjoy! Find hard cider near you and start drinking cider!

    Single Varietal Series: KeepSake Cider

As we became more engrained in the world of cider, we have been able to explore ciders that are less commercialized and truer to the apple. We have tasted ciders that are naturally fermented, aged, foraged, locally sourced, and everything in between, but one of our favorite explorations in the world of cider is single varietal hard ciders.

Single varietal ciders are created by using a single delicious, nuanced, and regional apple in a large or small batch. Without blending several apples together, you get to experience the specific character of a particular apple, may it be its acidity, taste, or aroma.

To get a better understanding of different regions of the United States, and discover what single varietal ciders are being cooked up across the country, we started by asking Keepsake Cidery for their insights on single varietal ciders and the apples they are using for their products.

Tell Us More About Your Cidery

Keepsake Cidery is an orchard based, family farm cidery in the Cannon River Valley of Minnesota. We are heavily influenced by the ciders of Hereford and Somerset England, Normandy and Brittany France and the Basque region. We only use particular apples grown in our orchard and fellow orchards in our region and we press 100% of our juice before spontaneously fermenting then aging our ciders in a mix of stainless steel, HDPE, and barrels.

Our ciders are unfiltered, unfined, no tannin, acid, sulfite or sugar additions. Just cider. Sometimes we age on local farmed and foraged ingredients. Average aging time is about 18 months. Our ciders are Pet Nat, Charmat Method, or Still.

What Single Varietals Ciders Do You Make?

Single varietal ciders we have made in small and large batches:

    • Chestnut Crab
    • Jonathan
    • Keepsake
    • Dabinette
    • Kingston Black
    • Golden Russet
    • Dolgo Crab

Why Make Single Varietals Over Blends?

We make single varietal ciders for three main reasons:

    • They are delicious and fun for the drinker.
    • They are also a great way for the cider maker to truly get to know the fruit and its fermentation habits and flavors.
    • They help educate the consumer.

Great cider is made with great apples. When a cider maker showcases one apple, it takes away the advantages that blending can give you. It requires truly attention to detail in the process. Especially if the apple is approached like we do at Keepsake with no additions- no sugars, no acids, no sulfites, no tannins added- nothing but the apple.
The process should be the same whether you are making a blend or SV.

We select particular locally grown apples for their unique flavors. Will this apple contribute to a great finished cider? What will it bring? Tannin, phenolics, acidity, minerality,,,, sometimes we come across an apple that we think makes a great cider by itself, so we approach making a SV (single varietal) like all our ciders, just don’t blend it with other apples .

Having said all that, I think that the best ciders are usually blends. As you know, many “Single Varietals” in the cider world and wine world are also blends, usually 75%-80% has to be one varietal in order to label it a SV. I’m not sure if the cider world has made an official decision. Do you know?

We try to make all our SVs at 100% or very close. Whether or not the cider is a single varietal, the cider industry would benefit from more producers highlighting the apples they use in their ciders.

Describe Some Of Your Favorites Cider Apples & Their Unique Characteristics

The incredible differences between SV ciders from producer to producer add another layer of enjoyment. It’s good fun comparing a Dabinett SV made in Herefordshire with one made in Minnesota. The differences are due to the terroir and the processes used by the makers, and they can be VERY different despite using the same apple. As I am sure you have found.

Keepsake – This upstart apple from University of MN is one of our obvious favorites. The flavors are full of stone fruit and a chalky texture, acidity is present but lower than most American Dessert apples. For us this apple ferments very slowly and has repeatedly keeved for an arrested fermentation, leaving a perfect natural medium cider. We have found this cider to marry well with barrel aging too. It lacks tannin, but can offer a touch of bitterness some years.

Dabinette One of the classics SV from the Somerset, Herefordshire, and Wales. We love the smoke, leather and black tea elements of this cider. It also has that unique bittersweet fruit- reminds us of a cross between papaya and pear or some other make believe fruit. This apple tends to be a great candidate for keeping in our limited experience. Its fault is that it isn’t grown more in our region. We need more!

Chestnut Another great Minnesota apple. It’s small but full of flavor. We have had this clock in at 17 brix. Tasting notes include smoke, leather, black pepper, pear. Lots of phenolics and medicinal flavors, low on tannin. Some years brings a tangy acidity, some years it’s muted. Great as both medium and dry, but tends to finish dry.

    Quick notes:
From a grower’s perspective, both Keepsake and Chestnut make a wonderful cider and are great to eat! Also, in a small competition during our Eat an Apple Drink an Apple Event- Keepsake beat out Dabinett, Golden Russet, Kingston Black and Chestnut!

Effects of Energy Drinks on The Body

The most common primary function of energy drinks that you probably know is to provide your body with energy. This is because it has a stimulant like caffeine. However, it’s capable of the following too:

    • Enhanced physical performance
    • Enhanced mental performance
    • Fresh Feeling
    • Improved mood

As Brein Fuel energy drink has caffeine, it can also provide you with the benefits above. I’ll discuss the caffeine in Brein Fuel in the next section.

How Much Caffeine is in Brein Fuel?

You can find 360mg of caffeine sourced from unroasted green coffee beans in Brein Fuel. With this amount, you’ll really feel the alertness and energy from your brain all over your body. However, this amount is way too much.

Just for comparison, a regular cup of coffee only has 95 mg of caffeine. That’s usually enough to make most people alert for several hours. Imagine what 360 mg can do!

I also personally prefer energy drink brands that range from 50 to 100mg of caffeine only since I think that’s the perfect amount to get a good energy boost without risking side effects.

The FDA has also set a 400mg daily caffeine limit. If you consume one bottle of Brein Fuel, that only leaves you 40 mg left before you’re treading on dangerous territory.

This is why I don’t really recommend Brein fuel for those who are caffeine-sensitive or those who are just starting out with energy drinks.

If you take excessive amounts of caffeine, you may experience these symptoms:

    • Headaches
    • Palpitations
    • Nausea
    • Nervousness
    • Fever
    • Insomnia

How Much Sugar is in Brein Fuel?

There’s 4g of sugar per bottle of Brein Fuel, as I’ve mentioned. While other brands don’t use artificial sweeteners if their product already has natural sugar, this isn’t the case with Brein Fuel.

The brand uses low-glycemic sugar called D-Ribose, which our bodies naturally create. It’s healthier than other kinds of added sugar, and it can also be beneficial for your body.

Brein Fuel also contains the artificial sweetener sucralose. The FDA approved this for general use because it’s good for your diet. Artificial sweeteners are considered a healthier substitute for natural sugar because they’re calorie-free.

According to this study, if you have diabetes, you should go for products that use artificial sweeteners. They’re also beneficial for obesity.

That said, getting over 30g of sugar in a day has a higher chance of causing sugar crashes. This can ruin your workout streak because taking a lot of sugar instead of feeling much power can make you feel sleepy. And when you’re exhausted, you won’t be able to finish any work.

That’s why you should keep track of your daily sugar intake to remain healthy and keep working.

    Vitamins in Brein Fuel

Aside from minerals, vitamins are also essential nutrients because they can do hundreds of roles and benefits for your body. They can either heal wounds or strengthen bones, heal wounds.

They also help transform food into energy. Luckily, Brein Fuel has two significant vitamins that can help you with this.

First, it has 500mg of Vitamin C. This vitamin aids in the growth and repair of all body tissues. You only need around 100mg of vitamin C per day. However, even if you take 2000mg of Vitamin C, it cannot cause you any harm.

Aside from that, Brein Fuel also has Vitamin E. This vitamin is good for your vision, reproduction, blood health, brain, and skin. However, if you happen to take over 1000mg of this vitamin a day, you can experience Nausea, fatigue, headache, and bleeding.

    Vitamin in Cup.
    Research your Vitamins.

Many people use vitamin C and E every day. If you’re one of them, make sure you’re taking the correct dosage as advised by your doctor.

While the said vitamins are good for pregnant or lactating mothers, Brein Fuel is not. As per what this article says, energy drinks are not for pregnant women. This is because energy drinks contain a high amount of caffeine.

How Many Cans of Brein Fuel Should You Drink Every Day?

Considering all the benefits and harmful effects of Brein Fuel, I’d say you only need a bottle per day. Although I understand if you have urges to drink more because it’s tasty and energy-boosting, I won’t recommend this for you.

If you are still looking for extra energy but you feel like the Brein Fuel’s effects have passed, you can try other options. Drinking enough water and getting proper sleep can get you energized too.

Other articles recommend having a second serving of energy drinks on the same day. I strongly suggest you don’t do this with Brein Fuel since it has a hefty amount of caffeine. You have to keep in mind the consequences you’ll get from this.

Learn more about caffeine overdose from a doctor in this video.

He explained the consequences a teen suffered because of caffeine overdose from an energy drink and a cup of coffee.

Alternative Energy Drinks to Brein Fuel

Because I think the caffeine level of Brein Fuel is way too high, I’ll suggest you some energy drinks that have lower amounts of caffeine. I’ve also included my favorite here, so make sure you check out the last one.

    G Fuel

G Fuel is also an energy drink that can help you in many events. Its fruity taste is just part of the reason why many gamers worldwide love this energy drink.

It has lower caffeine content than Brein Fuel too. That said, 150mg of caffeine is still a bit higher than what I usually prefer.

If you’re cutting sugar from your diet, this one can be a good option as well. It lacks sugar and uses sucralose as its taste enhancer.

Moreover, it has Antioxidants, L-tyrosine, and taurine, ensuring focus and energy. It’s gluten-free too!

    Rip It Energy

Each can of Rip It has 80mg of caffeine. This energy drink describes itself as a dietary supplement. However, you shouldn’t try replacing your meals with this drink.

Like most energy drinks, if you want to keep your body in shape, you should do it with proper meals and exercise. I guess the 80mg of caffeine is enough to keep you alert for a day.

In addition, this energy drink has Vitamin Bs and Vitamin C. It has 26g of sugar, so make sure you only drink one can to avoid sugar crashes.

    REIZE (The Best)

for me, REIZE is the best energy drink for moderately active persons.

It contains a low 50 mg of caffeine, but that’s more than enough to get you through the day. Plus, you won’t need to worry about pesky side effects.

REIZE is packed with B vitamins, taurine, and ginseng that you won’t find in a bottle of Brein Fuel. It also only has 11 calories and no sugar, ensuring that the drink is suitable for all kinds of lifestyles and dietary needs.

While Brein Fuel doesn’t have any harmful ingredients, I’m not too fond of its caffeine content. On the other hand, I don’t doubt the boost and alertness it could give you for your tasks.

If you have high caffeine tolerance, 360mg might give you the kind of energy your body needs. Therefore, you can also use it as a pre-workout beverage. But I only recommend it for healthy adults who are used to caffeinated drinks.

All in all, Brein fuel is also not suitable for long-term and regular use since drinking such high amounts of caffeine often can lead to caffeine overdose and dependence.

Brein Fuel is just too much of a risk, in my opinion, and you can always find the nutrients it has in other brands with lower caffeine content.

If you are set on trying the drink, make sure you start with half a can first and monitor its effects on your body! If you experience any severe symptoms, consult a medical professional immediately.
